Aberystwyth Town made it back-to-back wins and moved off the bottom of the JD Cymru Premier table with a dramatic late 1-0 victory away at Barry Town United.
Substitute Mark Cadwallader scored the only goal in the first minute of stoppage time as he headed home from Akeem Hinds’ corner.
Connah’s Quay Nomads’ 12-match unbeaten streak was brought to an end by a 3-1 defeat to Cardiff Met at Cyncoed Campus on Saturday.
First half goals from Joe Evans and Sam Jones put the Archers in control and even Tom Price’s red card did not deter them as CJ Craven added a third after the break. The Nomads were then also reduced to 10 men as Harry Franklin received a second yellow card, before Callum Bratley netted a late consolation.
Defeat for the Nomads meant that The New Saints went nine points clear at the top of the table following their 2-0 away win at Newtown.
After a goalless first half at Latham Park, Josh Daniels lashed home the opener just after the hour mark before Ben Clark curled in a stunning strike in stoppage time to wrap up the result.
Martell Taylor-Crossdale scored the first hat-trick of his senior career as Haverfordwest County thrashed Colwyn Bay 5-0 at Ogi Bridge Meadow.
There were first senior goals for teenagers Rio Dyer and Dan John as the Bluebirds earned their biggest league win in over 18 months.
There was also a hat-trick at the Oval where veteran forward Chris Venables bagged a treble in Penybont’s 4-2 win over Caernarfon Town.
Dan Jefferies scored Bont’s other goal of the afternoon as Rhys Griffiths’ side ended their four-match losing streak in the JD Cymru Premier.
Bala Town and Pontypridd United had to settle for a point each in a 0-0 draw at Maes Tegid. Dragons skipper Clayton Green came closest to scoring when he struck the post midway through the second half.
