2023/24 Nathaniel MG Cup quarter-final draw

Following Tuesday night’s round three ties, the quarter-final draw for the 2023/24 Nathaniel MG Cup took place today (Thursday 21 September) at Barry Town United’s Jenner Park – conducted by Linnets boss Steve Jenkins.

JD Cymru Premier leaders The New Saints are in the quarter-finals for the first time in five years and they have received a home tie against JD Cymru North side Gresford Athletic, who are in the last eight for the second season in succession.

Guilsfield knocked out holders Bala Town in the third round and they will aim to continue their cup journey at home against either Prestatyn Town or Colwyn Bay, whose tie was postponed on Tuesday due to a waterlogged pitch.

Swansea City triumphed over south Wales rivals Cardiff City on penalties on Tuesday night, leaving them as the only remaining wildcard side left in the competition. In the quarter-finals they have been pitted at home against Briton Ferry Llansawel, the only remaining JD Cymru South club.

Completing the quarter-final line-up is an all JD Cymru Premier affair between Cardiff Met and Pontypridd United at Cyncoed Campus.

The ties will take place on 23-25 October.
