European first qualifying round draws: All you need to know

JD Cymru Premier clubs will find out their opponents for their first European ties of the summer at the draws in Nyon, Switzerland on Tuesday 20 June. 

The New Saints are seeded in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League (1pm BST), with the first leg to be played on 11/12 July and the second leg to be played on 18/19 July. 

Meanwhile, in the UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round draw (2pm BST), Connah’s Quay Nomads will be seeded and Penybont and Haverfordwest County will be unseeded. These first legs will be played on 13 July and the second legs on 20 July.

Ahead of the draws, all clubs were pre-drawn into groups of five or six to narrow down their list of possible opponents. 

The New Saints possible UEFA Champions League first qualifying round opponents:

KÍ Klaksvik (Faroe Islands)
BK Häcken (Sweden)
Ballkani (Kosovo)
FC Struga (North Macedonia)
Winner of preliminary round*

*Budućnost Podgorica (Montenegro), Breiðablik (Iceland), Tre Penne (San Marino) and Atlètic Club d’Escaldes (Andorra) compete in the preliminary round between 27-30 June. 

Connah’s Quay Nomads UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round possible opponents:

KA Akureyi (Iceland)
Bruno’s Magpies (Gibraltar)

Penybont UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round possible opponents:
