JD Cymru Premier European play-off details confirmed

The details of this season’s JD Cymru Premier European play-offs have been confirmed.

The New Saints’ win in the JD Welsh Cup final on Sunday secured a spot in the UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round for third-place Penybont – the first time the club has ever qualified for European competition.

Connah’s Quay Nomads will also compete in the UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round, while TNS will enter the UEFA Champions League in the first qualifying round.

The play-offs will now decide who takes the final spot in the UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round.

In the semi-finals, fourth-place Cardiff Met University host seventh-place Haverfordwest County at Cyncoed Campus on Saturday 6 May, with kick-off at 5:15pm. This match will be broadcast live on S4C and Sgorio’s online platforms.

Meanwhile, fifth-place Bala Town will host sixth-place Newtown at Maes Tegid on Friday 5 May, with kick-off at 7:45pm. This match will be broadcast live on Sgorio’s online platforms.

The play-off final will take place on Saturday 13 May at 5:15pm at the home stadium of the highest-ranked team.
