2023/24 JD Cymru Premier awards

Player of the Season

Sion Bradley – Caernarfon Town

It has been a superb season for the Cofi star, who seems to have really gone up a level from last season. His performances have put Caernarfon in with a chance of a European spot, and his good displays earned him a place in the Wales C squad earlier this year, where he scored the winning goal against England C.

Danny Redmond – The New Saints

An ever-present in the Saints midfield, Danny Redmond has once again been at his creative best this season. In phase two especially, Redmond really stepped up to guide TNS to another title, as he recorded three goals and five assists in eight appearances.

Brad Young – The New Saints

Joining from Premier League side Aston Villa in the summer, Brad Young has certainly showed all of his quality this year. Ending as the league top scorer with 22 goals this season, the former Villain turned Saint has been electric, as TNS stormed to the Cymru Premier once again.

Manager of the Season

Colin Caton – Bala Town

Colin Caton has once again guided Bala Town to a great season. After a seven-game unbeaten start to the season, important wins against Connah’s Quay Nomads and Newtown confirmed a third-place finish, and more importantly, a return to the European stage for the first time in 2022.

Richard Davies – Caernarfon Town

After surviving relegation last season, Richard Davies has certainly turned the fortunes of Caernarfon Town around. Achieving a fifth-place finish in the Cymru Premier, they defeated Cardiff Met in semi-final of the European play-offs and are now one game from competing against some of the continent’s best.

Craig Harrison – The New Saints

Craig Harrison is so used to winning league titles, but winning one in the way he did this season is truly unique. He managed this TNS team to an unbeaten league season; a season where they won an astonishing 30 games out of 32. As well as winning the Nathaniel MG Cup, it will be a season that Harrison will remember for a long time.

Young Player of the Season

Lee Jenkins – Haverfordwest County

Having played every minute of every league game this season, defender Lee Jenkins has had a stellar campaign for Haverfordwest County. From helping them on their European journey to almost clinching a play-off spot, Jenkins has seen it all and been the real heartbeat at the back for the Bluebirds.

Josh Williams – Connah’s Quay Nomads

What a season it’s been for young Nomad Josh Williams. Having made his way into the first team last season, Williams has been a mainstay in the first team this season and has popped up with important goals and assists.

Brad Young – The New Saints

Brad Young has been scintillating this year. He’s played like a player beyond his years at times this campaign at Park Hall and beyond, and he has certainly been a big reason as to why the Saints have won the double this term.
