Adam Davies had his head in his hands as he watched his shot cannon off of the post and out in what was Caernarfon’s best chance of the match. Haverfordwest would introduce Ben Fawcett shortly after and he picked out Ahmun who put a shot just wide.

Fawcett was finding his feet and created a chance for man-of-the-match Corey Shephard but he was denied in a one-on-one with Ben Hughes.

The game was all but wrapped up with less than five minutes remaining as Ahmun got his second of the afternoon with a clinical finish.

Haverfordwest would make a raft of changes following their third and having to re-organise perhaps opened the door to Caernarfon Town. Louis Lloyd was able to get a consolation goal for the Cofi’s.

Tony Pennock’s side made the most of their early pressure as they took the lead. Corey Shephard weaved his way in to the box and looked to take a shot which instead fell to the path of an unmarked Ben Amun who snuck his effort under Ben Hughes.
