2025/26 JD Cymru Premier European Play-Offs explained

As the end of the season approaches, details of the European Play-Offs in the JD Cymru Premier have been confirmed.

The JD Cymru Premier has four allocated spots in European competition for the 2026/27 season. The New Saints have confirmed their place in the UEFA Champions League as league winners, while Connah’s Quay Nomads will compete in the UEFA Conference League after securing second place. The remaining two spots in the UEFA Conference League will be claimed by the winner of the JD Welsh Cup and the winner of the JD Cymru Premier European Play-Offs.

The JD Welsh Cup Final takes place between Caernarfon Town and Flint Town United at Rodney Parade on Sunday 12 April. The final round of Phase Two fixtures in the JD Cymru Premier is then scheduled for Saturday 18 April, before the European Play-Offs commence the following week.

  • European Play-Off Quarter-Final (if necessary): 21 April
  • European Play-Off Semi-Final: 24-26 April
  • European Play-Off Final: 1-3 May
