The JD Cymru Premier fixture between Barry Town United and Llanelli Town on Friday 9 January (KO 19:45) has been selected for live Sgorio broadcast by S4C.
The clash at Jenner Park, part of the final round of fixtures in Phase One, will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer, S4C Clic and the Sgorio YouTube channel.
Barry currently occupy sixth place in the table, ahead of seventh-place Cardiff Met on goal difference only. It means that Steve Jenkins’ side must at least equal the Archers’ result against Penybont if they are to compete in the Championship Conference for the first time since 2020/21.
Llanelli are currently rooted to the bottom of the JD Cymru Premier table, 13 points adrift of safety, but victory on Friday would provide a significant confidence boost for Lee John’s side ahead of Phase Two.
The two sides have already met three times this season, with Barry winning 1-0 at Stebonheath on the opening weekend of the league campaign before also triumphing 1-0 in the Nathaniel MG Cup at Jenner Park and 6-0 away in the JD Welsh Cup.
