
The New Saints FC Chairman Mike Harris has been charged with multiple Disciplinary Offences for a social media post published on the platform ‘X’ on 21 July 2026.
Mr Harris has been charged with the following Disciplinary Offences:
- The Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.9 for posting inappropriate and/or offensive material, which is conduct likely to bring the game of Association Football, or the Football Association of Wales, into disrepute.
- The Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1 for breach of clause 4.1.3 and/or 4.1.5 of FAW Social Media Regulations in that Mr Harris published a post which:
- Was offensive, insulting and/or derogatory which was likely to cause offence; and/or
- Brings the Association and/or the game of Association Football or all other forms of football under the jurisdiction of the Association into disrepute.
- The Disciplinary Offence as set out under FAW Rule 38.1.1, pursuant to clause 2.3 and/or 2.5 of the FAW Discrimination Regulations, in that Mr Harris allegedly offended the dignity of a person or group of persons, either directly or indirectly by posting material which may be deemed to be contemptuous, discriminatory or denigratory.
In accordance with FAW Rule 43.1.2, Mr Harris has seven (7) Business Days to respond to the charge.
