
The winners of December’s Player and Manager of the Month awards across the JD Cymru Leagues have been confirmed.

Manager of the Month
John Disney – Connah’s Quay Nomads
It was another perfect month for Connah’s Quay Nomads as victories over Colwyn Bay, Briton Ferry Llansawel and Flint Town United setup a huge match against The New Saints on New Years Eve. An impressive 3-1 win made it eight straight victories for John Disney’s side and cut the gap on the league leaders to four points.
Player of the Month
Harry Franklin – Connah’s Quay Nomads
Five goals and two assists during a faultless month for the Nomads has earned Harry Franklin his nomination. The 26-year-old scored both goals in the 2-1 win over Colwyn Bay before scoring another double in the victory over Briton Ferry Llansawel and adding to his tally against Flint Town United.
JD Cymru North
Manager of the Month
Gari Lewis – Penrhyncoch
It has been a difficult season for Penrhyncoch at the bottom of the JD Cymru North but five December points from three games has offered hope for Gari Lewis’s side. A 1-0 win over in-form Guilsfield was sandwiched between 1-1 draws with Newtown and Ruthin Town.
Player of the Month
Dan Owen – Penrhyncoch
Penrhyncoch can thank Dan Owen for their best month of the campaign as the 23-year-old scored all three of their goals as they claimed five points from three games and remained undefeated. Owen was on target in the 1-1 draw with Newtown, the 1-0 win over Guilsfield and in the 1-1 draw with Ruthin Town.
JD Cymru South
Manager of the Month
Liam Williams – Cambrian United
Cambrian United maintained their lead at the top of the JD Cymru South in December as Liam Williams’s side registered a 3-0 win over Carmarthen Town before defeating Ynyshir Albions 3-1. Cambrian United now have an eight-point advantage over Trefelin.
Player of the Month
Sam Cawley – Cardiff Draconians
The 27-year-old continues to be a key player for Cardiff Draconians in the JD Cymru South and played every minute for his side in December. Cawley scored and provided an assist in the 2-0 win over Llantwit Major and contributed an assist for their only goal in the 2-1 defeat to Newport City.
