
The shortlist for the February Player and Manager of the Month awards in the JD Cymru Leagues has been confirmed.
The fans’ vote will be combined with a league and independent voting panel to determine the winners.

Manager of the Month
Craig Harrison – The New Saints
Ten goals from three victories in February moved The New Saints to the verge of an eighteenth JD Cymru Premier title. Craig Harrison’s side began the month with a resounding 6-0 win over Penybont before beating Colwyn Bay 2-0 and Caernarfon Town 2-1 to take maximum points.
Andy Legg – Barry Town United
Although the month began with a narrow 1-0 defeat to Colwyn Bay, Barry Town United responded to win 2-0 at Caernarfon Town. Andy Legg then saw his side claim an impressive 1-0 win at home to Connah’s Quay Nomads to claim a second successive clean sheet.
Tony Pennock – Haverfordwest County
A perfect February has put Tony Pennock’s Haverfordwest County in pole position at the top of the Play-Off Conference. The side didn’t concede a single goal in February with a 2-0 win over Briton Ferry Llansawel followed by a 3-0 victory over Bala Town and a 1-0 win away to Llanelli Town.

Player of the Month
Ifan Knott – Haverfordwest County
An excellent month for the 21-year-old shot-stopper as Ifan Knott kept three clean sheets for Haverfordwest County in February. Knott was ever-present as the side claimed nine points against Briton Ferry Llansawel, Bala Town and Llanelli Town without conceding.
Ben Margetson – Barry Town United
A key figure for Barry Town United this season, Ben Margetson played every minute of every game for the club in February, and contributed a goal and an assist in the 2-0 win over Caernarfon Town. The defender now has six league goals this season.

Corey Shephard – Haverfordwest County
A perfect month for Haverfordwest County was helped by the performances of Corey Shephard. The 28-year-old played every minute of their three victories and scored twice in the 3-0 win over Bala Town to take his league tally to nine goals.
Jordan Williams – The New Saints
It was another impressive month for Jordan Williams as The New Saints moved within touching distance of the league title. Williams was on target in the 6-0 win over Colwyn Bay and in the 2-0 victory over Colwyn Bay during February.

Manager of the Month
Mark Allen – Airbus UK Broughton
Airbus UK Broughton kept the pressure on league leaders Llandudno at the top of the JD Cymru North during February as Mark Allen’s side claimed maximum points. The Wingmakers defeated Rhyl 1879, Ruthin Town and Buckley Town, conceding just one goal in the process.
Jordan Hadaway – Llandudno
It was a busy month for Llandudno but it could prove decisive in the title race as Jordan Hadaway’s side showed their credentials with five wins from five games. Llandudno claimed victories over Brickfield Rangers, Gresford Athletic, Denbigh Town, Flint Mountain and Penrhyncoch to extend their lead at the top.

Nathan Leonard – Newtown
Although they only played two JD Cymru North fixtures during February, Nathan Leonard could not have asked more from his players as they defeated Guilsfield 2-0 and Flint Mountain 1-0 to take maximum points without conceding a goal.
Player of the Month
Ryan Edwards – Holywell Town
Holywell Town are maintaining their promotion challenge, and it was Ryan Edwards who played a key role for the side in February. After scoring the winner deep into added time in the 2-1 victory over Buckley Town, Edwards then provided a goal and an assist in the 5-1 win against Denbigh Town.
Jordan Evans – Airbus UK Broughton
A perfect month for Airbus UK Broughton was delivered through two goals from Jordan Evans in the 3-1 win over Rhyl 1879. Evans also contributed an assist in the 4-0 win over Ruthin Town before adding a goal and another assist in the 3-0 win over Buckley Town.
Haci Ozlu – Gresford Athletic
The 24-year-old has impressed for Gresford Athletic this season and made a telling contribution in February as he scored twice in the 3-0 win over Flint Mountain. Ozlu now has seven goals in the JD Cymru North during the current campaign.

Tom Stephens – Llandudno
Although he only had one league goal to his name before February, Tom Stephens proceeded to score three in four games during the month. The 27-year-old was on target against Brickfield Rangers and Denbigh Town before scoring the decisive goal in the 1-0 win over Flint Mountain.

Manager of the Month
Matthew Driscoll – Pontypridd United
Pontypridd United turned the corner in February after a difficult campaign as Matthew Driscoll’s side claimed a 3-1 win over Ynyshir Albions before defeating Baglan Dragons 2-0. Driscoll was appointed in December and will now look for his side to finish the season on a high.
Andy Hill – Trefelin
A huge month for Andy Hill and his Trefelin side as they moved to the top of the JD Cymru South table with four wins from four games. Trefelin did not concede a single goal during February with victories over Carmarthen Town, Baglan Dragons, Ynyshir Albions and Llantwit Major.

Sam Houldsworth – Newport City
Two victories from two games made it a perfect month for Sam Houldsworth and his Newport City side. February began with a 1-0 win at Afan Lido before a 2-1 victory over Llantwit Major. Their six-point return moves them into the top half of the table.
Player of the Month
Luke Bowen – Trefelin
It was another impressive month for the veteran striker as Luke Bowen scored in all four victories for Trefelin during February. The 37-year-old was on target against Carmarthen Town, Baglan Dragons, Ynyshir Albions and Llantwit Major to take his league tally for the season to 12 goals.
Louis Caramella-Gerrard – Trefelin
Summer signing Louis Caramella-Gerrard has been pivotal to Trefelin’s excellent defensive form this season and was once again ever-present for his side in February, playing every minute of every game. Trefelin moved to the top of the JD Cymru South without conceding a goal.
Tim Parker – Caerau Ely
Although Caerau Ely lost two of their three games in February, Tim Parker has been in fine form for his side and scored the two goals that sealed a 3-1 win over Ammanford. Parker then scored another brace for Caerau Ely in their 4-3 defeat to Carmarthen Town.

Ethan Wynne – Pontypridd United
It has been a positive month for Pontypridd United, and their form has been helped by Ethan Wynne who scored each of their two victories during February. Wynne was on target in the 3-1 win over Ynyshir Albions before opening the scoring in the 2-0 win over Baglan Dragons.
