
The shortlist for the January Player and Manager of the Month awards in the JD Cymru Leagues has been confirmed.
The fans’ vote will be combined with a league and independent voting panel to determine the winners.

Manager of the Month
Andy Dyer – Briton Ferry Llansawel
A perfect January for Andy Dyer’s side with six goals in two games as Briton Ferry Llansawel claimed victories over Haverfordwest County and Llanelli Town to move level on points with Cardiff Met at the top of the Play-Off Conference.
Lee Fowler – Flint Town United
Despite a defeat to relegation rivals Bala Town, Flint Town United claimed six points during January with an impressive 2-1 win away to Colwyn Bay before gaining revenge over Bala with a thrilling 4-3 win at Maes Tegid to begin Phase Two.

Craig Harrison – The New Saints
The champions once again showed their title credentials in January by taking maximum points from three games. Craig Harrison’s side conceded just once in victories over Bala Town, Colwyn Bay and Barry Town United to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Player of the Month
Billy Borge – Penybont
Ever-present for Penybont in an undefeated January, Billy Borge has played an important role in Rhys Griffiths’s side claiming five points with draws against Cardiff Met and Caernarfon Town following a 1-0 win over Llanelli Town.

Ryan Brobbel – The New Saints
Brobbel played a key role in The New Saints claiming three wins from three games in January. The experienced forward scored the decisive goals in the 2-1 over Bala Town and in the 1-0 win over Barry Town United to take his league tally for the season to nine.
Rhys Hughes – Connah’s Quay Nomads
With two goals and three assists for Connah’s Quay Nomads this month, Rhys Hughes has made a telling contribution to their undefeated January with a 3-1 win over Barry Town United followed by a pair of 2-2 draws against Caernarfon Town and Colwyn Bay.
Tom Walters – Briton Ferry Llansawel
The 29-year-old forward played a pivotal role in Briton Ferry Llansawel claiming six points from two games in January. Tom Walters was on target in the 3-2 win over Haverfordwest County and then provided two assists in the 3-1 win over Llanelli Town.
JD Cymru North
Manager of the Month
Mark Allen – Airbus UK Broughton
An impressive four wins from four games in January from Mark Allen’s side as the Wingmakers defeated Flint Mountain, Holyhead Hotspur, Gresford Athletic and Penrhyncoch. The side now head into February top of the JD Cymru North table.
Dave Evans – Gresford Athletic
Three wins from four games has eased Gresford Athletic’s relegation worries as Dave Evans’s side claimed a remarkable three 3-2 victories over Denbigh Town, Penrhyncoch and promotion challengers Holywell Town. Their only defeat came away to leaders Airbus UK Broughton.

Paul Moore – Rhyl 1879
Rhyl 1879 scored five goals in their two JD Cymru North fixtures in January as Paul Moore’s side claimed maximum points with an impressive 3-2 win against previously unbeaten Llandudno and a 2-1 victory over Buckley Town.
Player of the Month
Jamie Breese – Holywell Town
Striker Jamie Breese continued his excellent form in front of goal for Holywell Town in January as the 34-year-old scored against Holyhead Hotspur, Ruthin Town and Gresford Athletic. Breese now has 18 league goals for the season and leads the charts for both goals and assists.
Ryan Knott – Guilsfield
Although he only joined the club two weeks ago, Ryan Knott has made a huge impression at Guilsfield with four goals in his first three games. The 24-year-old opened his account in the defeat to Denbigh Town before scoring twice in the 3-2 win against Ruthin Town and the only goal of the game against Buckley Town.
Jack Parry – Rhyl 1879
The 20-year-old was on target twice during his two JD Cymru North game for the club in January. After scoring the third goal in the 3-1 win over Llandudno, Parry then scored the winner in the 2-1 victory over Buckley Town.

George Peers – Airbus UK Broughton
The leading scorer for Airbus UK Broughton in the JD Cymru North this season, George Peers added four more to his total in January with goals against Flint Mountain and Gresford Athletic either side of scoring both goals in the 2-1 win away to Holyhead Hotspur.

Manager of the Month
Andy Hill – Trefelin
It was another perfect month for Andy Hill’s Trefelin as the promotion challengers defeated Trethomas Bluebirds, Caerau Ely and Ammanford, scoring nine goals in three games.
Craig Williams – Aberystwyth Town
Williams has made an impressive start to life in the Aberystwyth Town dugout and his side enjoyed an undefeated January as they drew 1-1 with Carmarthen Town before claiming victories over Cardiff Draconians and Newport City to boost their promotion hopes.
Liam Williams – Cambrian United
The current JD Cymru South leaders maintained their status at the top of the table in January without conceding a single goal. Liam Williams’s side continued to show their title credentials with wins over Pontypridd United, Cardiff Draconians and Newport City.

Player of the Month
Liam Eason – Cambrian United
The leading goalscorer in the JD Cymru South this season, 27-year-old Liam Eason scored his 16th goal of the league campaign in the 1-0 win over Pontypridd United before contributing assists in both of their remaining January fixtures.
Jonathan Evans – Aberystwyth Town
The impressive Jonathan Evans played every minute of every game for Aberystwyth Town in January and scored the opening goal in the 3-2 win over Cardiff Draconians to take his total for the season to seven.
Kyle Jones – Cambrian United
The captain has been a key player for Cambrian United this season and was ever-present for the league leaders in January as they did not concede a goal. Jones was also on target for his side in the 2-0 win over Newport City.
Lewys Ware – Trefelin
The 21-year-old has been in excellent form for Trefelin during the campaign and played every minute of every game for his team in January. Ware also opened the scoring in the 2-1 win over Caerau Ely to help maintain their promotion push.
