
The 2024/25 JD Cymru North Team of the Season has been announced ahead of the FAW National League Awards on Saturday 7 June.
Representatives from across the league were invited to select a best XI, before all submissions were compiled into the Team of the Season.
Title winners Colwyn Bay have the most players in the team with five nominated. Runners-up Airbus UK Broughton have three and then there’s also representation from Buckley Town, Holywell Town and Llandudno.
JD Cymru North 2024/25 Team of the Season
GK – Rhys Williams (Colwyn Bay)
The 27-year-old arrived in the summer after joining from Flint Town United. He was installed as first choice goalkeeper and ended up keeping 14 clean sheets to win the league’s Golden Glove award, shipping just 21 goals.
RB – Adam Smith (Buckley Town)
The 25-year-old missed just three games for the Bucks and was a key member of the side that Asa Hamilton led to a fifth-placed finish. Smith ended up getting three goals from defence in 27 matches.

CB – Lewis Sirrell (Colwyn Bay)
Another player that went from winning promotion with Flint Town United to going one better a year later with Colwyn Bay. The former Middlesbrough youngster played a total of 23 league games, getting two goals and two assists in a tight defence.
CB – Sol Forde (Colwyn Bay)
Nominated for the Young Player of the Season for a second time in a row, Forde has now won back-to-back promotions in North Wales despite not exiting his teenage years until next month. The 19-year-old kept 13 clean sheets in the 27 games he played, scoring five goals in the process.
LB – Sam Hart (Colwyn Bay)
Club captain Sam Hart was nominated for the JD Cymru North Player of the Year, so his inclusion in the Team of the Season comes as no surprise. Hart played in 25 league matches and registered 10 assists on the left side of defence.

CM – Mark Cadwallader (Llandudno)
At 36 years of age, Cadwallader is still doing the business. After joining from Aberystwyth Town, the forward netted 22 goals in 27 games, putting him in the top three in the goalscorer charts.
CM – Jordan Evans (Airbus UK Broughton)
The six-time Wales under-21 international was one of the most creative players in the division and despite not winning the league, he at least got his hands on a WBS League Cup winner’s medal. Evans, 29, got 12 assists and nine goals in 28 matches for the Wingmakers.
CM – Jamie Cumming (Colwyn Bay)
After missing what was the only defeat of the season, Cumming went on to play the majority of the campaign, bar the title-clinching game against Penrhyncoch. Cumming registered 13 goals and 13 assists in 27 league matches.

RW – Jamie Breese (Holywell Town)
The 33-year-old stuck around after helping the Wellmen win the league last season following his winter transfer move from Llanidloes Town. Breese with a full season under his belt at Halkyn Road scored 22 goals in what was an ever present campaign for him, featuring in all 30 matches.
ST – Danny Warren (Airbus UK Broughton)
This season’s JD Cymru North Golden Boot winner leads the line. Warren got 24 goals and 11 assists, missing just three games in Airbus’ long pursuit of the title.
LW – George Peers (Airbus UK Broughton)
The 24-year-old finished fourth in the goalscorer charts with 21 goals in 26 games. Peers also registered seven assists, making him one of the most creative players in the division.
