The 2024/25 JD Cymru Premier regular season came to an end on April 19.
The New Saints were crowned champions, whilst Aberystwyth Town and Newtown were relegated. Penybont finished second, ensuring their best finish to a league campaign, and now await the outcome of Sunday’s JD Welsh Cup final between Connah’s Quay Nomads and TNS to see if they will automatically qualify for the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Conference League.
The only thing left to decide on the final day was who would be playing who in the European Play-Offs. Caernarfon Town came from behind to beat Cardiff Met 2-1 to finish fourth and ensure they would face seventh-place in the Play-Off Conference which was Barry Town United.

They made the most of being able to play their quarter-final at The Oval as they thrashed the Linnets 5-2 last Saturday. Met, who finished below the Cofis in fifth, were at home against Bala Town who finished in sixth but 10-points behind them, and won 1-0 thanks to an effort from Ryan Reynolds.
