The JD Cymru Premier is delighted to announce a multi-year partnership with football operations platform Pelly.
From the 2026/27 season, all 16 Cymru Premier clubs will have access to Pelly to manage their internal operations and recruitment.
For football clubs, much of the day-to-day operations is spread across spreadsheets, inboxes, and disconnected tools. The agreement gives every club access to a single platform to manage that work, from recruitment and contracts through to compliance and squad planning.
Founded in 2023 and based in Anglesey, Wales, Pelly was named Global Startup of the Year at the Wales StartUp Awards in June 2025. Pelly is partnered with clubs across Europe, including Motherwell FC (Scottish Premiership) and SC Cambuur (Eredivisie).
Iwan Pritchard, CEO at Pelly, said: “We are extremely proud of this partnership. Pelly’s roots are in Wales, and one of the first clubs we ever worked with was in the Cymru Premier in 2022. That experience gave us a close-up view of the struggles clubs face on a day-to-day basis and shaped a lot of what the platform has become today.
“We are delighted to now provide access to all 16 teams to help them recruit and manage day-to-day operations more efficiently, and in doing so, stretch the limits of their potential on the pitch.”

Jack Sharp, FAW Head of Domestic Leagues, said: “Over the past 12 months, it has been great getting to know the team at Pelly.
“It quickly became clear how closely aligned our organisations are in terms of vision and ambition. They have built an impressive platform that I’m confident will deliver value across the football industry.
“We’re delighted to be partnering with a Welsh-based company that shares our commitment and excitement to the growth of domestic football in Wales. Pelly has an exciting future ahead, and their journey mirrors much of what we are striving to achieve within the Cymru Premier.
“We look forward to working together and building a successful partnership in the years to come.”
