JD Cymru Premier Predictor | Jazz Richards’ Matchday 9 predictions

Matchday 9 in the JD Cymru Premier is here and our guest predictor for the midweek games is former Cymru international and Haverfordwest County defender Jazz Richards.

Richards earned 14 caps for Cymru and played at EURO 2016 in a professional career in which he also represented both Swansea City and Cardiff City. He made the move to Haverfordwest in 2021 and was part of the side that earned European qualification two years later.

With such an affinity to the Bluebirds, it is unsurprising that Richards has predicted Tony Pennock’s side to beat Barry Town United at home on Tuesday night.

The defender is also predicting league leaders Penybont continue their unbeaten start to the season with a home win over Briton Ferry Llansawel.

The New Saints will aim to return to winning ways after defeat in Bridgend on Friday night and Richards believes Craig Harrison’s men will get the better of Bala Town at Park Hall.

Second-place Cardiff Met travel to Aberystwyth Town on Tuesday and Richards has gone for the Archers to claim another victory.

Connah’s Quay Nomads are aiming to end a three-match losing streak, with Richards predicting a draw for Billy Paynter’s side at home to Newtown.

The only game on Wednesday evening sees Flint Town United host Caernarfon Town, with Richards predicting a draw at the Essity Stadium.
