Nathaniel MG Cup | Quarter-final draw

The quarter-final draw for the 2024/25 Nathaniel MG Cup has been confirmed. 

Split into Northern and Southern sections, the ties are scheduled to be played on 21-22 October – with The New Saints’ tie moved three weeks later due to their European commitments.

In the Northern section, the last two cup winners go head-to-head as TNS host Bala Town. Aberystwyth Town, appearing in the quarter-finals for the first time in five years, travel to three-time winners Connah’s Quay Nomads. 

In the Southern section, the last remaining wildcard side Cardiff City host Cardiff Met, with the Archers aiming for a sixth semi-final appearance in the last seven seasons. Early JD Cymru Premier leaders Penybont make the trip to four-time winners Barry Town United. 

Northern Section

Tuesday 22 October
Connah’s Quay Nomads v Aberystwyth Town (19:45)

Wednesday 13 November
The New Saints v Bala Town (19:45)

Southern Section

Monday 21 October
Cardiff City v Cardiff Met (20:00)

Tuesday 22 October
Barry Town United v Penybont (19:45)
