Early Novira Cymru North leaders Brickfield Rangers maintained their perfect record with a 2-0 win over Penrhyncoch at Clywedog Park on Saturday.
Brickfield made a dream start and took the lead inside just two minutes as in-form forward Andy Vale slotted home from Sam Flory’s knock-on.
Vale doubled his and Brickfield’s tally 11 minutes into the second half as he latched onto Carl Jones’ long ball upfield and produced another clinical finish for his seventh league goal of the season already. Gary Wildon’s side have now won four consecutive Novira Cymru North for the first time ever and have kept back-to-back clean sheets for the first time in over a year.
Bala Town are also on maximum points after their first three matches as the Lakesiders beat Gresford Athletic 3-0 at Maes Tegid on Friday.
Craig Lindfield opened the scoring on the stroke of half time as he headed home at the front post after meeting Tom Kelly’s corner. Kelly was the provider for Bala’s second goal just seven minutes after the restart as the teenager found Charlie Fisher, who also found the net with a header.

Veteran midfielder Darren Thomas marked his return to Porthmadog with a goal to help secure a 3-2 over Denbigh Town at Central Park on Friday.
Porthmadog went into the break with a narrow one-goal lead as Dylan Summers-Jones converted from the penalty spot following Dan Davies’ foul on Gruff John inside the area.
Alfie Vaughan forced the ball over the line to bring Denbigh level early in the second half, but Thomas, who came onto the pitch as a Porthmadog for the first time in 13 years following his departure from Caernarfon Town earlier this week, restored the visitors’ advantage just five minutes after his introduction as he received Osian Ellis’ through ball and slotted into the bottom corner.
Harry Martin’s looping effort saw Denbigh make it two apiece, but Port quickly edged back in front as Ellis tucked away the rebound from Sam Reynolds’ blocked effort on the line. Chris Jones’ in-form side are still unbeaten with 10 points from their first four league games.
Declan McManus’ brace inspired Bangor 1876 to an entertaining 3-2 victory over Holyhead Hotspur at The Yates Stadium on Friday.
The bumper crowd watched on as McManus gave Bangor the lead with just three minutes on the clock with a composed finish from Isaac Goodwin’s pass.
Holyhead completed a quickfire turnaround thanks to goals from Byron Davis and Connor Owen, but a moment of magic from Jack Smith made it two apiece as the Bangor youngster sent a powerful strike into the top corner from distance.
McManus put Bangor back in front on 55 minutes as he stood over a penalty – awarded for a foul on James Barry – and fired into the roof of the net for his fifth goal of the season. Mike Johnston’s side are now up to third in the table after securing a third consecutive win.
Ryan Knott scored twice as Guilsfield played out a 2-2 draw with Ruthin Town at Clos Mytton on Saturday.

Knott won Guilsfield an early penalty after he was fouled by Harley Salisbury-Williams, which allowed the forward to open the scoring from 12 yards.
Prince Yelegon equalised for Ruthin from close range before the Guils restored their lead midway through the second half as Knott rounded Ruthin’s substitute goalkeeper Dan Goldston and walked the ball into an empty net.
However, Ruthin levelled the scoreline once more to rescue a hard-fought point on the road as Meirion Pughe prodded the ball home at the back post after the hosts failed to clear a corner. Guilsfield remain unbeaten despite three draws, while Ruthin have already equalled their points tally from the first eight league games of last season.
Mold Alexandra secured back-to-back wins with a narrow 1-0 victory over fellow Flintshire rivals Buckley Town at Alyn Park on Friday.
The decisive moment arrived shortly before the hour mark as Colwyn Bay loanee Max McGoona scored his first goal of the season, with the 18-year-old’s strike enough to give Mold their second straight win by just a single goal.
Llanuwchllyn and Rhyl 1879 were heading towards a goalless draw before their match was abandoned in stoppage time due to a serious injury.
New Rhyl signing Dan Apantaku struck the post with an audacious overhead kick, while Llanuwchllyn goalkeeper Evan Parry made some key saves to keep the scoreline level.
Llanuwchllyn were awarded a penalty late in the day following a nasty collision inside the area. However, it became apparent that Rhyl defender Billy Holmes had suffered a serious injury, causing the game to be abandoned. Everyone at the FAW wishes Holmes a speedy recovery and further information regarding the fixture will be announced in due course.
