The shortlist for October’s Player and Manager of the Month awards in the JD Cymru Leagues has been confirmed.
The fans’ vote will be combined with a league and independent voting panel to determine the winners.

Manager of the Month
Craig Harrison – The New Saints
Despite the distraction and the demands of their UEFA Conference League campaign, champions The New Saints have made strides forward in the league during October by winning four of their five games. Craig Harrison’s side scored 15 goals in the process to put them right back in the title mix.
Steve Jenkins – Barry Town United
Three wins from four games in October has put Steve Jenkins’ Barry Town United side into top half of the table. Victories over Briton Ferry Llansawel, Newtown and Flint Town United have made amends for points dropped in September as they look to establish themselves in the top six.
Tony Pennock – Haverfordwest County
An undefeated month for Haverfordwest County has kept Tony Pennock’s side as one of the pacesetters in the JD Cymru Premier this season. The former goalkeeper will be impressed by the defensive qualities of his team during October as they conceded just one goal in their four league games.
Player of the Month
Lee Jenkins – Haverfordwest County
A key performer and a goalscorer for Haverfordwest County during their undefeated October, the 23-year old scored the winning goal in the 2-1 victory over Briton Ferry Llansawel which was also his second of the season. Jenkins has also played every minute of every league game for the club during the campaign.
Louis Lloyd – Caernarfon Town
The 21-year old is making a big impression at The Oval this season and during October he scored both goals in the 2-1 win over Cardiff Met before grabbing the memorable winner against The New Saints a few days later. Lloyd then scored for the third consecutive game in the 2-1 defeat against Newtown.
Remi Oteh – The New Saints
The versatile forward has made a great start to his time at The New Saints, scoring four goals for the league champions during October, including a brace and an assist in the 5-0 win over Flint Town United. Oteh also found the back of the net in victories over Cardiff Met and Aberystwyth Town.
Keenan Patten – Barry Town United
Two of Patten’s four league goals for Barry Town United this season were delivered in October as he added his name to the scoresheet in victories over Briton Ferry Llansawel and Newtown. An important part of the side, Patten has started every league game for the club this season.
JD Cymru North
Manager of the Month
Mark Allen – Airbus UK Broughton
It has been a perfect and high-scoring month for JD Cymru North leaders Airbus UK Broughton as Mark Allen’s side made headlines with seven goals against Prestatyn Town before putting eight past Holywell Town to retain pole position. Three out of three for the Wingmakers in October.
Dewi Llion – Denbigh Town
Denbigh Town have enjoyed a much better October and went through the month undefeated, claiming seven points from a possible nine. A 4-3 victory over Bangor 1876 was followed by an impressive 6-2 win over Llandudno to move Dewi Llion’s side into mid-table.
Michael Wilde – Colwyn Bay
It is proving to be quite the battle at the top of the JD Cymru North as Michael Wilde’s Colwyn Bay side keep the pressure on Airbus UK Broughton with three perfect results in October. Two 5-0 victories over Gresford Athletic and Guilsfield were followed by a 7-0 win over Prestatyn Town last week to make it 17 goals without reply.
Player of the Month
Gwion Dafydd – Colwyn Bay
The teenager certainly has an eye for goal and found the back of the net in every match throughout October, including scoring four goals in the 5-0 win over Guilsfield and two in the same scoreline victory over Gresford Athletic the week before.
Mike Hayes – Flint Mountain
The veteran forward has enjoyed an excellent month for Flint Mountain, scoring in every game including a double in the 4-2 win over Llay Welfare at the start of October. Hayes also earned an important victory for his side by scoring the winner against Holywell Town.
Nathan Williams – Airbus UK Broughton
The 26-year old scored his first league goal of the season in the big 8-3 win over Holywell Town last week and the former Gresford Athletic player also played an important role in victories over Prestatyn Town and Mold Alexandra as his side continue to hold top spot in the JD Cymru North.
Keelan Williams – Denbigh Town
The former Bala Town youngster was ever-present for Denbigh Town in October and contributed two goals for his side in the 6-2 win over Llandudno as the side completed an undefeated month. Williams also provided the assist for Owen Davies in the 1-1 draw with Mold Alexandra.

Manager of the Month
Gavin Allen – Pontypridd United
After guiding Pontypridd United through an undefeated October, Gavin Allen announced that he will be stepping down from his position in the next fortnight due to work commitments. Victories over Penrhiwceiber Rangers and Cwmbran Celtic were followed by a 2-2 draw with Baglan Dragons, and the side remain in the leading pack as they look to appoint Allen’s successor.
Dean Brown – Penrhiwceiber Rangers
Following a very difficult start to the campaign, newly-promoted Penrhiwceiber Rangers won two of their three JD Cymru South games in October including an impressive 3-1 victory away to Newport City. Dean Brown’s side have clearly adapted to their new surroundings as they move away from the bottom of the table.
Carl Clement – Baglan Dragons
An undefeated month for Baglan Dragons that began with a convincing 3-0 win away to local rivals Afan Lido. Victories over Cambrian United and Taffs Well followed before points were shared with Pontypridd United. Carl Clement’s side scored 12 goals during an impressive month for the side.
Player of the Month
Tom Davies – Baglan Dragons
It was a great month for the 25-year old as he scored five goals for his side including a hat-trick and an assist in the 4-1 win against Cambrian United. Further goals against Afan Lido and Taffs Well ensured that his excellent form continues for a Baglan Dragons side undefeated in October.
Henry Jones – Llanelli Town
The former Penybont player was an important signing for Llanelli in the summer and scored twice for his side in October in JD Cymru South fixtures against Newport City and Taffs Well. The 31-year old is a consistent performer for Lee Johns’ team as they look to push for promotion this season.
Lewis Reed – Ammanford
The 22-year old striker made headlines last month as he scored four goals for Ammanford in the 6-2 home win over Cwmbran Celtic and was also on target in the 3-1 victory over Goytre United. Reed has played a key role in Ammanford claiming six points from a possible nine in October to move them away from the relegation places.
Sean Williams – Llantwit Major
The 40-year old veteran played every minute of Llantwit Major’s three JD Cymru South fixtures in October as they remained undefeated. Williams also scored the equaliser for his side, his first goal of the season, in the 1-1 draw with Goytre United at the start of the month.
