Cymru end the UEFA U17 EURO finals on a high note as they earn their first point of the tournament. Croatia took the lead after Durdov scored directly from a corner in the first half, but Cymru fought back as a superb free kick from Cruz Allen found the back of the net eight minutes later.
The game could have gone either way in the second half with chances for both sides in a physical encounter, but the spoils were shared and Craig Knight can be proud of his side’s performance against a strong Croatian side.

However, the response from Cymru was almost instant as Cruz Allen made the most of a free kick opportunity, making no mistake in finding the bottom corner with his curling effort. A big second half ahead as Craig Knight’s side look to end the tournament on a high note.

Here’s the lineup Craig Knight goes with for Cymru’s final game of the tournament.
Max Hudson, Rhys Morrish, Louis Griffiths, Luis Gardner and Cruz Allen are brought into the starting XI in place of Luis Lines, Brayden Clarke, Charlie Walker-Smith, Harlan Perry and Adam Brett respectively.
Defenders Clarke and Walker-Smith miss out through suspensions.

Cymru are back at Dasaki Stadium – the same venue for their match against Denmark – for their final fixture in Cyprus against Croatia. A defeat against Austria in their last outing ensured Cymru are unable to make it to the knockout stages but Craig Knight’s side will still be aiming to finish the tournament on a high today.
