It’s Matchday 4 in the Genero Adran Premier on Sunday, while the Genero Adran North and Genero Adran South seasons get under way. Here are the key games to keep an eye on.
Genero Adran Premier – The New Saints vs Swansea City (Sunday, 2pm)
The New Saints and Swansea City put their perfect starts in the Genero Adran Premier to the test when both sides meet at Park Hall on Sunday.
TNS have won their first three matches of a top-flight season for the first time, while scoring an impressive 18 goals and conceding just once to sit as the early league leaders. Kieran Lee-Birch’s side triumphed 9-1 over Barry Town United in their last home game before following that up with a rampant 7-0 win away at Aberystwyth Town last weekend.
Swansea enjoyed a dream start to their campaign with a 3-1 victory at home against rivals Cardiff City before Aimee Deacon’s penalty sealed a 1-0 win over Aberystwyth. Yzzy Taylor’s side were forced to come from behind to maintain their perfect record last weekend as they triumphed 3-1 against newly-promoted Cardiff Met. The Swans have only lost once on the road in 2026.Â
Swansea won the first three league meetings against TNS last season, with the most notable of those coming in early March as Chloe Chivers’ four-goal haul inspired a 5-2 victory. However, Saints put an end to that losing run in last season’s penultimate matchday as Lexie Harrison scored the only goal in a 1-0 win at the Swansea.com Stadium.
Genero Adran North – Wrexham Foresters vs Berriew (Sunday, 2pm)
Newly-promoted Wrexham Foresters make their Genero Adran North debut when they host Berriew at Stansty Park on Sunday.
The Foresters gained promotion to the second tier after prevailing on penalties against Llangefni Town in a play-off in May, while they also won 17 out of their 18 games and scored a staggering 162 goals on their way to lifting the tier three title.
Kirstie Kural’s side have already a taste of what football is like in the second tier as they suffered a 5-2 defeat to reigning Connah’s Quay Nomads in the Genero Adran Trophy group stage at the start of September – their first ever home loss since the team was formed in 2025. However, they found the perfect response a fortnight ago as Anna Thomas’ hat-trick helped earn an 11-0 win away to Llandudno – the biggest win in the Genero Adran Trophy group stage in four years.Â
Berriew finished sixth in their debut season in the Genero Adran North, with a league double over Llandudno being their standout success. Gareth Hopkins is now at the helm of Berriew and his reign began in the best way possible with a 4-0 win at Llandudno in the Genero Adran Trophy group stage. However, the mid-Wales outfit are hoping to bounce back from a 3-0 defeat to Connah’s Quay Nomads in their second Genero Adran Trophy group game.
Genero Adran South – Penybont vs Cambrian United (Sunday, 2pm)
Genero Adran South newcomers Cambrian United travel to face Penybont at the Dragonbet Stadium in their first league fixture since promotion.
Cambrian were finished as runners-up in the SWWGL last season, but were promoted to the Genero Adran South following Taffs Well’s withdrawal. The Rhondda side were beaten 5-2 by Carmarthen Town in their first Genero Adran Trophy group game, but can take many positives from their 1-1 draw away to Pontypridd United two weeks ago. Cambrian’s top scorer from last season Kelly Isaac, who bagged 17 goals in 16 third tier games, will hope to carry over her fine form into the club’s new era.Â
Penybont, who finished fourth in the Genero Adran South last season after losing just one of their last six league matches, welcomed several new faces to the club in the summer. It has not been the ideal start to the campaign for Leon Williams’ side though, as they drew 1-1 with Pure Swansea and lost 5-0 away to Cwmbran Celtic in the Genero Adran Trophy. Bont will have to adapt to life without last season’s top scorer Cerys Jones following her move to Gloucester City.Â
Cambrian and Penybont last met in the 2024/25 Genero Adran Trophy group stage, where Bont earned a 3-1 home victory.
