In addition to the Genero Adran Trophy semi-finals, there is plenty of league action to keep an eye on this weekend. Here are the key games to watch.
Genero Adran Premier – Barry Town United v Cardiff Met (Sunday, 2pm)
With other league games postponed due to the Genero Adran Trophy semi-finals, the only Genero Adran Premier fixture this weekend sees Barry Town United host bottom-of-the-table Cardiff Met.
Barry kicked off 2025 with a 1-1 draw away at Aberystwyth Town last weekend as Ingrid Ådland saw her opener cancelled out by Lleucu Mathias, leaving the Linnets winless in their last seven league matches. Stevie McCarthy’s side currently sit fifth in the table but would move up to fourth with victory on Sunday.
Met have also travelled to Aberystwyth in the last week, losing 1-0 at Park Avenue on Wednesday night – a result which leaves them four points adrift of safety as they continue to search for their first win of the season.
Barry have already beaten Met twice this season, with a 5-1 league victory in October before a 5-0 win in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup two weeks later.
Genero Adran North – Llandudno v Llanfair United (Sunday, 2pm)

Llandudno will be searching for a return to winning ways when they host in-form Llanfair United at the Go Goodwins Stadium.
Jasmin Dutton’s stoppage-time penalty rescued a 1-1 draw for the Seasiders against Felinheli on Wednesday, leaving them five points adrift of Genero Adran North leaders Connah’s Quay Nomads.
However, Llanfair will provide a stern test as they sit just one point behind Llandudno in third place. Lucie Gwilt’s side ended 2024 with a 4-3 win over Flint Town United, meaning they have already equalled their points tally of 12 from the whole of last season.
Llandudno were emphatic winners in both league meetings between the two sides last season, recording 6-1 and 8-3 victories on their way to securing the league title.
Genero Adran South – Pontypridd United v Swansea University (Sunday, 2pm)

Pontypridd United will aim to return to the top of the Genero Adran South when they host Swansea University.
The Dragons are currently second in the table, three points behind league leaders Cwmbran Celtic – who do not play this weekend – with a better goal difference. Ponty produced a stellar performance in their most recent outing as Nicole Fenton’s four-goal haul inspired a 6-1 win away to Llanelli Town last month.
Swansea Uni currently sit third in the table following back-to-back wins over Caldicot Town and Penybont, while a three-goal victory on Sunday would see them leapfrog Ponty.
The two sides last met in the Genero Adran Trophy Round of 16 lasts season, when Swansea Uni stunned their then-Genero Adran Premier opponents by winning on penalties after a 1-1 draw in 90 minutes.
