The Genero Adran Leagues return this Sunday as the Genero Adran North also gets back underway following last weekend’s Bute Energy Welsh Cup action. Here are the key games to watch.
Genero Adran Premier – Barry Town United vs Wrexham (Sunday, 2pm)
After returning to the top of the Genero Adran Premier last weekend, Wrexham aim to maintain their perfect away record when they travel to face Barry Town United at Jenner Park.
Wrexham dropped to second in the table after a 3-2 defeat to The New Saints at the start of October, but rampant wins for Jenny Sugarman’s side against Swansea City (8-1) and Cardiff Met (7-0) have now seen Wrexham leapfrog their local rivals on goal-difference. The Red Dragons have scored a staggering 40 goals in their first seven league games – no team in Genero Adran Premier history has scored more at this stage. Cymru WU23 international Faye Knox continues to set the league alight with 12 goal contributions in her last five outings.

Barry scored just twice from open play in their opening five defeats, but the Linnets have now registered their first two points on the board with recent 2-2 draws against Cardiff Met and Aberystwyth Town. Steve McCarthy-Campbell’s side have shown encouraging signs despite their frustration of conceding late and ultimately dropping two points in both of those draws, but Barry will require one of their best performances in recent memory if they are to take anything from the reigning champions on Sunday.
Katie Barker’s brace helped Wrexham earn a comfortable 7-0 victory over Barry in last month’s reverse Phase One fixture.
Genero Adran Premier – Briton Ferry Llansawel vs Cardiff City (Sunday, 2pm)
Briton Ferry Llansawel and Cardiff City face off at The Renewable Centre Stadium after both teams claimed statement victories last weekend.
Briton Ferry currently sit fifth in the Genero Adran Premier table and they closed in on a place in the top half after a 3-0 win away to Swansea City last weekend, where Lucy Powell scored twice and assisted to give the Reds a memorable victory on the road. Following their win over the Swans, Ferry boss Mark Murison said his side “more than capable” of building on the result against Cardiff on Sunday and that he “wants to make sure no one wants to play Briton Ferry because they know they are going to get a really good game.”

Third-place Cardiff are the most in-form team in the Genero Adran Premier at this moment in time with five consecutive wins to their name. Gillian Keenan’s sixth goal in four games gave the Bluebirds a hard-fought 1-0 win over The New Saints last weekend as Noah Bushby’s side continue to sit just three points behind the top two sides. Cardiff will also want to remain solid defensively as they target three straight league clean sheets for the first time since March 2025.
Cardiff were narrow victors against Briton Ferry last month as Anna Houghton’s two goals and assist inspired a 3-2 home win. The last five matches between the two sides have served up a minimum of five goals.
Genero Adran North – Flint Town United vs Llanfair United (Sunday, 2pm)
Flint Town United and Llanfair United look to build on their opening weekend victories in the Genero Adran North when both teams meet at the Essity Stadium.
Flint scored 16 goals on their way to achieving maximum points in the Genero Adran Trophy group stage before they opened their league campaign with a 2-0 victory away to Bangor City 1876. The Silkwomen extended their winning run to five matches last weekend with an emphatic 11-0 win over Airbus UK Broughton in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup, inspired by Shannon Hobbs’ hat-trick. Hobbs’ new strike partner Laura Williams has already hit the ground running in Flint colours with seven goals in her first four starts.

Last season’s Genero Adran North runners-up Llanfair will be hoping to be at the top end of the table once again in 2026/27 and Lucie Gwilt’s certainly started that mission in the best way possible as they stormed to a 14-0 win over Llandudno in their league opener – their biggest ever victory in the division. Llanfair also progressed into the Genero Adran Trophy knockout stage at the beginning of October and they will hope to remain in bright form ahead of an exciting last 16 tie against Genero Adran Premier champions Wrexham next month.
Both sides have already met this season as Flint earned an entertaining 5-3 win in the Genero Adran Trophy. Tania Wylde’s four-goal haul helped Llanfair secure a 5-1 victory in the first league game between the two teams last season, but Flint gained revenge with a 2-1 win on the final day of the campaign.
