Genero Adran Leagues Games to Watch: 6 April

The final day of the season is upon us in the Genero Adran North and Genero Adran South, while the top-flight edges closer to completion.

Here are the key games to keep an eye on.

Genero Adran Premier – Briton Ferry Llansawel v The New Saints (Sunday, 2pm)

After confirming a second-place finish in the Genero Adran Premier with victory over Wrexham last weekend, Briton Ferry Llansawel’s final home game of the campaign comes against The New Saints.

The Reds have more than held their own in their first season back in the top-flight, losing the fewest games (two) and conceding the fewest goals (17) in the division.

It has been a tricky Phase Two for TNS, who have lost all four of their matches since the split, but they are still in with a chance of achieving a record third-place finish in the table.

This will be the sixth meeting in all competitions between Ferry and TNS this season. The two sides could not be separated in two draws in Phase One, the Saints were victorious in both the Genero Adran Trophy and Bute Energy Welsh Cup, before the Reds triumphed 2-1 in Phase Two’s reverse fixture at Park Hall last month.

Genero Adran North – Connah’s Quay Nomads v Felinheli (Sunday, 2pm)

Connah’s Quay Nomads will aim to complete a perfect season in the Genero Adran North when they host Felinheli.

Having already sealed the title, the Nomads are now hoping to make it 14 wins from 14 league games, ahead of the promotion play-off against the Genero Adran South champions later this month.

Felinheli will not roll over for the champions though, as Aaron Jones-Evans’ side are unbeaten in their last nine league matches and thrashed NFA 10-0 a fortnight ago to guarantee a third-place finish.

Felin came close to taking points off the Nomads back in October, but a stoppage-time winner from Phoebe Ellis saw the Jordan Parry’s side secure a dramatic 1-0 win.

Genero Adran South – Pontypridd United v Llanelli Town (Sunday, 2pm)

A thrilling final day is in store in the Genero Adran South, with the top three currently level on 24 points.

League leaders Pontypridd United have a goal difference of +15, two better than second-place Swansea University, so victory for the Dragons at home against Llanelli Town should secure the title.

Claire O’Sullivan’s side, who also reached the Bute Energy Welsh Cup semi-finals this season, were beaten 6-2 by Cascade a fortnight ago – which ended a four-match winning streak in the league.

Llanelli are guaranteed to finish sixth in the table, having picked up four points from 11 matches so far this season. The Reds almost took a point off Cascade in their last outing, but conceded in the 97th minute to lose 2-1.

Nicole Fenton bagged four goals as Pontypridd won 6-1 away at Llanelli in December’s reverse fixture between the two sides.

Genero Adran South – Swansea University v Cascade (Sunday, 2pm)

If Pontypridd do slip up, Swansea University and Cascade will be waiting to capitalise in their game. The Swans have a goal difference of +13, while Cascade’s is +9.

Swansea Uni earned their fifth consecutive away win by triumphing 2-0 at Penybont in their last outing and have only lost once in six matches in 2025.

Cascade kept their title hopes alive with a stunning 6-2 victory over Pontypridd a fortnight ago, which was a fourth win in a row for Brendan Donohoe’s side as they have mounted a late season charge.

Cascade have already beaten the Swans twice this season, with a 1-0 win in September’s reverse league fixture preceding victory in the Genero Adran Trophy group stage by the same scoreline the following month.
