A full schedule across the Genero Adran Leagues returns this weekend. Preview the key matches.
Genero Adran Premier – Swansea City v Cardiff City (Sunday, 5:45pm)
It’s South Wales derby time in the Genero Adran Premier as Swansea City host reigning champions Cardiff City at the Swansea.com stadium with both sides putting their unbeaten starts to the campaign on the line.
Swansea were left frustrated in a goalless draw with Barry Town United on their last appearance at the Swansea.com stadium a fortnight ago, but they bounced back with a 3-2 victory against Wrexham at the Racecourse last weekend.
Cardiff and league leaders Briton Ferry Llansawel as the only two teams to win all three matches so far in 2024/25, with Iain Darbyshire’s side hoping to build on an impressive 2-0 victory over The New Saints at the Cardiff City Stadium last weekend.
The two teams met six times across league and cup competitions last season, but it was the Bluebirds’ notable 4-0 victory in March that sealed back-to-back league titles.
Genero Adran North – Llandudno v Flint Town United (Sunday, 2:00pm)

Reigning champions Llandudno will hope to make it two wins from two in the Genero Adran North when they host newly-promoted Flint Town United at the Go Goodwins Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Seasider started as they mean to go on with a 6-0 win at Rhyl 1879 on the opening day, inspired by braces from Maddie Williams and Kelsey Davies. They have also been lethal in front of goal in cup competitions, netting 26 times in four matches across the Genero Adran Trophy, Bute Energy Welsh Cup and NEWFA Cup respectively.
Newly-promoted Flint Town made the perfect start to their campaign with wins over Llanfair United and Rhyl in the Genero Adran Trophy, before they played out a goalless draw with Bangor in their league opener.
However, the Silkwomen were heavily beaten 6-2 by third tier outfit Llangefni Town in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup a fortnight ago, so manager Tony Doyle will be hoping for a response from his side.
Genero Adran South – Cwmbran Celtic v Cascade (Sunday, 2:00pm)
Cwmbran Celtic and Cascade may both have title ambitions in the JD Cymru South this season and they will aim to build on opening day victories when they meet on Sunday.
Celtic striker Jade Crofts continued her sparkling form as her brace was enough to earn her side a 2-1 victory over Llanelli Town in their league opener. Crofts already has six goals to her name this last season, following her four across Genero Adran Trophy matches against Penybont and Pontypridd United.
Meanwhile, Cascade begun their league campaign with a 1-0 home win over Swansea University thanks to Olivia Townsend’s strike.
Cascade and Celtic finished second and third respectively last season, but Cascade went unbeaten in all four meetings.
