Pontypridd United made it two wins from two in the Genero Adran South with a 5-1 victory over Caldicot Town at USW Sports Park on Sunday.
Teenager Sophie McMullen, who scored 15 goals for the Dragons in the Genero Adran U19 South last season, continued her breakthrough into the senior squad as she opened the scoring with 14 minutes on the clock.
Nicole Fenton added a second for Ponty just three minutes later for her fifth goal of the season already, before McMullen set up fellow 17-year-old Lauren Payne to make it three on the half hour mark.
Caldicot improved in the second half, reducing the deficit on 61 minutes through China Cooper-Jones, but Ponty eventually put the game to bed in the final 10 minutes thanks to a debut goal for substitute Faye Marshall and a second of the afternoon for McMullen.
Cwmbran Celtic also continued their perfect start to the league campaign as they triumphed 4-2 over Cascade at Avondale Park.
Celtic suffered an early setback as Olivia Townsend put Cascade ahead after just six minutes played, but goals from former Cascade forward Lauren Boyd and Fiona Anthony saw the hosts turn the game around.
Cascade equalised shortly before half-time as Ellis Lunn – who set up Townsend’s opener – got on the scoresheet herself, but Celtic captain Eloise Meaney produced a composed finish to restore her side’s lead just after the hour mark.
It was not until the 88th minute when Celtic made sure of the victory, as Boyd scored her second of the afternoon from the penalty spot.
Swansea University claimed their first league win of the season with an emphatic 6-2 victory at home to Llanelli Town.
Hannah Pinney broke the deadlock after just 10 minutes, before the hosts scored three goals in the final 10 minutes of the first half – one for Lauren Baker and a quickfire double for captain Charley Haynes – to lead 4-0 at the break.
Pinney completed a brace of her own in the 78th minute, before Bryanna Demery netted twice in the space of five minutes to get Llanelli on the scoresheet. However, the Swans had the final say as Pinney set up substitute Jacqueline Maddock to wrap up the win in the eighth minute of stoppage time.
