Ella Jones bagged four goals as Llandudno continued their perfect start to the Genero Adran North campaign with a 6-1 win over newly-promoted Flint Town United.
Jones opened the scoring after just four minutes as her strike flew beyond Ruby Stevens via the post and she had completed her hat-trick before half-time, with 16-year-old Angharad Jones also finding the net in the first half.
Jones grabbed her fourth goal of the afternoon in the 70th minute and in emphatic fashion as she picked out the top corner with a sweetly-struck shot from 30 yards out.
Flint pulled a goal back through Ruby Hastings in the 82nd minute, but Llandudno immediately grabbed their sixth of the afternoon as Jasmin Dutton prodded home from Erin Doran’s cross at the back post.
It proved to be Billy Fuller’s final match in charge of the Seasiders as he stepped down as manager after the game, citing his desire to be a “better husband and father”.
Polly Wild-McGregor scored a hat-trick within the space of six minutes as Connah’s Quay Nomads began their league campaign in style with a 6-0 home victory over Llanfair United.
It was a tightly-contested start to the match in Deeside, but the Nomads eventually grabbed the opening goal thanks to Phoebe Ellis’ looping effort three minutes before half-time.
Anais Bathily doubled the lead four minutes after the break, while Mel Barlow came off the bench to score her first goal since returning to the club in the 79th minute.
Wild-McGregor then put the game to bed late in the day as her two neat finishes one-on-one with Ffion Davies made it five, before the new Nomads captain completed her treble shortly before the final whistle as she fired home the rebound after seeing her penalty saved by Davies.
Felinheli also opened their campaign with a win as goals from Rubie Davies, Ellie Jones and Llywela Edwards earned a hard-fought 3-1 victory away to NFA.
16-year-old summer arrival Davies scored her first goal for Felinheli after just five minutes, but NFA responded and drew level through Claire Smedley in the 21st minute.
The hosts put up a good battle against last season’s third-placed side, but a costly foul inside the area in the 67th minute allowed Jones to calmly convert from the penalty spot and put Felin back in front.
Aaron Jones-Evans’ side found a crucial third goal in the 77th minute as new signing Edwards continued her impressive start to life at the club.
Nothing could separate Bangor and Rhyl 1879 as the two sides played out a 1-1 draw at the Bangor City Stadium.
Bangor controlled the match in the opening half hour and got their reward as in-form Ashleigh Jones broke the deadlock with her fifth goal of the season.
However, the home side were dealt a blow two minutes before half-time as experienced forward Sade Benjamin popped up with an equaliser for Rhyl.
