Aberystwyth Town claimed only their second point of the season in the Genero Adran Premier as they played out a 1-1 draw with Barry Town United at Park Avenue on Sunday.
An entertaining encounter remained goalless for over an hour, with Lleucu Mathias coming closest to breaking the deadlock as she struck the crossbar, before Barry took the lead on 68 minutes when Erin Murray’s superb through ball found Amy Long, who laid the ball off to Ingrid Ådland to finish from close range.
But the visitors were only ahead for seven minutes as Imi Scourfield’s through pass deflected into the path of Mathias who kept her composure to finish coolly past Molly Arnesen. Both sides had chances to win the game in the final 15 minutes, but it would finish level.

In the Genero Adran North, Rhyl 1879 earned their first league win of the season by triumphing 2-1 away at NFA.
After a goalless first half, Rebecca Bannister opened the scoring for the visitors just after the hour mark before 16-year-old Jazmine Mollatt doubled the advantage with two minutes left of the 90. Amy Webster pulled a goal back for NFA deep into stoppage time, but Rhyl held on to claim all three points.
Cascade were the biggest winners of the weekend as they secured a 4-0 victory at home against Caldicot Town in the Genero Adran South.
Brendan Donohue’s side made a rapid start to the contest as Vickey Beddows scored inside the first minute, while Olivia Townsend made it 2-0 in the 25th minute.
An own goal from Caldicot defender China Cooper-Jones gave Cascade a convincing advantage going into half-time, before Erin Parry completed the scoring early in the second period.

Penybont earned their first away league win of the campaign with a 1-0 victory away at Llanelli Town, who remain bottom of the table without a point.
With a goalless draw on the cards for much of the game, Bont finally broke the deadlock through Layla Williams in the 77th minute. Llanelli had a golden opportunity to equalise 10 minutes later as they won a penalty, but Courtney Butt missed from the spot.
