Reigning Genero Adran North champions Llandudno begin their title defence away to Rhyl 1879 on Sunday afternoon.
Llandudno stormed to the league title last season after winning 13 out of their 14 matches, but missed out on a spot in the Genero Adran Premier after losing 4-0 to Briton Ferry Llansawel in the promotion play-off final.
With Billy Fuller now at the helm after Jordan Hadaway’s departure, the Seasiders will have ambitions of lifting the trophy for the third time in four years but must bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to Connah’s Quay Nomads in the Genero Adran Trophy.
Rhyl achieved their best ever Genero Adran North finish last season as they placed fourth and lost only two of their final seven matches. However, the Lilywhites have started this season with back-to-back defeats to Felinheli and Flint Town United in the Genero Adran Trophy.
The 2023/24 Genero Adran North Player of the Season Maddie Williams scored in both fixtures for Llandudno against Rhyl last season as the Seasiders picked up convincing 5-2 and 4-0 wins.
Connah’s Quay Nomads have finished as runners-up in the Genero Adran North for the last two seasons, so Jordan Parry’s side are hoping that the third time’s the charm this time around.
The Nomads became the first side to book their place in the Genero Adran Trophy knockout stage last weekend after winning their opening two group matches and they now begin their league campaign away to Felinheli.
Felin were surprise contenders in the title race last season before eventually finishing third, so they have hopes for another campaign.
Phoebe Ellis’ hat-trick inspired the Nomads to a 4-0 win over Felinheli in the first meeting between the two sides last season but Felinheli would get revenge in January with Ffion Williams scoring all four goals in a 4-0 victory.
Newly-promoted Flint Town United have already impressed in the Genero Adran Trophy with two wins from their first two group matches, so the Silkwomen will be eager to carry their form over to the Genero Adran North when they travel to Bangor on Sunday afternoon.
Flint won all 12 of their matches on their way to winning the NWWFL East title last season and will be relishing the step up this term.
Bangor are hoping to improve on their seventh-place finish in 2023/24 and will be full of confidence after a 7-1 win over NFA in the Genero Adran Trophy last weekend.
Bangor claimed 9-0 and 5-0 victories over Flint on their way to winning the 2022/23 NWWFL and promotion to the Genero Adran North.
Llanfair United and NFA meet at Mount Field after finishing just one point apart from each other in sixth and fifth place respectively last season.
NFA have had a tough start to the season following heavy losses to Llandudno and Bangor in the Genero Adran Trophy over the last fortnight.
Meanwhile, Llanfair enjoyed a surprise 3-2 victory over Felinheli in the same competition last weekend, with teenage substitute Becky Jones scoring a 91st-minute winner.
Jess Mills starred as NFA won 4-2 in the first league meeting between the two sides last season, but Llanfair would get revenge as Jones’ goal secured a 1-0 win.
