Genero Adran North round-up: Connah’s Quay Nomads hit nine to go top of the table

Connah’s Quay Nomads moved to the top of the Genero Adran North table with an emphatic 9-0 victory away at Bangor.

The Nomads made a rapid start to the contest as Hannah Slack scored for the fourth consecutive game and Ella Jones bagged a quickfire brace to open up a three-goal lead after just 20 minutes.

Aimee Redfern headed home from a corner to make it 4-0 in the 28th minute, while Jones completed a first half hat-trick shortly before the break.

There was no let up in the second period as Polly Wild-McGregor and Natasha Spearing netted either side of Jones’ fourth of the afternoon, as the Nomads’ goal tally reached eight by the hour mark.
