
Llanelli Town earned their first league win of the season by triumphing 4-2 over Caldicot Town on Stebonheath, leapfrogging their opponents in the process.
Bryanna Demery opened the scoring for the Reds with a close-range finish on 19 minutes, before turning provider for Stacey Webber to prod home at the back post seven minutes later.
China Cooper-Jones quickly got one back for Caldicot, but teenage midfielder Annie Short – making her first league start for Llanelli – restored her side’s two-goal cushion on the stroke of half-time.
Nadia Phillips added her name to the scoresheet shortly before the hour mark before Millie Pearce got Caldicot’s second of the afternoon, but Llanelli saw out victory. Caldicot are now bottom of the table, a point behind the Reds with a game in hand.
