Genero Adran South | Weekend preview

With Briton Ferry Llansawel’s fixture against Coed Duon postponed, Cascade will go top of the Genero Adran South if they win away at Llanelli Town on Sunday.

The Reds have recorded back-to-back 1-0 victories over Pontardawe with Stacey Webber netting the winning goal on both occasions, climbing up to fourth in the table as a result.

After winning five of their first six league games of the campaign, Cascade have picked up just one point from their two matches – both against Swansea University.

However, Cascade were comfortable winners in the last encounter against Llanelli as they triumphed 6-0 the CCB Centre of Excellence in November with six different goalscorers.

Two points separate Cwmbran Celtic and Swansea University in the table ahead of their meeting at Celtic Park.

Celtic are currently fifth in the table and will be eager to get back out onto the pitch having not yet played in 2024.

Meanwhile, third-place Swansea Uni have impressed of late by taking four points from back-to-back games against Cascade.

Goals from Georgia Schwartz and Jade Crofts secured a 2-1 for Celtic as they edged out the Swans in the reverse league fixture back in November.

Caldicot Town host Pontardawe Town at Jubilee Way in a crucial clash at the bottom of the Genero Adran South table.

Caldicot have picked up just one point from their first six league matches of the campaign and are only off the bottom of the table by virtue of having a better goal difference than eighth-place Coed Duon.

However, a win on Sunday would see them go level on points with Pontardawe, who have only one win to their name in seven league games this term. Natalie Salter’s side suffered a narrow 1-0 loss to Llanelli Town last weekend.

Pontardawe have won four out of their last five matches against Caldicot with the other encounter ending in a goalless draw.
