The final round of the 2026/27 Genero Adran Trophy group stage awaits on Sunday, with clubs hoping to secure their place in the knockout stage.
The top two clubs from each group progress to the round of 16 where the eight Genero Adran Premier teams enter.Â
Group 1
Flint Town United will secure a place in the Genero Adran Trophy knockout stage if they avoid defeat to Bangor City 1876 at the Bangor City Stadium.
Flint opened Group 1 with an entertaining 5-3 victory over Llanfair United before they climbed to the top of the group with a rampant 8-2 win at home against Felinheli on home turf last weekend.
Those high-scoring victories give Flint a healthy goal-difference in Group 1, meaning the Silkwomen may still even qualify if they are beaten by Bangor. Ruby Hastings has been a bright spark for Flint in the competition so far, with four goals and three assists.
Bangor sit third in the group on three points, which were claimed in a 2-1 win away to Felinheli on the opening matchday. Chris O’Neal’s side must therefore better Llanfair United’s result on Sunday if they are to progress to the knockouts for the first time ever.
Genero Adran Trophy
Llanfair beat Bangor 4-0 last weekend to move up into the qualification spots, as the 2025/26 Genero Adran North Player of the Season Tania Wylde marked her first appearance in the new campaign with a goal.
Llanfair now travel to Cae Seilo to take on Felinheli, who are not mathematically eliminated from the competition despite two defeats, but would need to overturn a large goal-difference if they are to pull off a shock.
Llanfair ran out narrow 3-2 victors in the first Genero Adran North meeting between the two sides last season, but Felinheli responded with a 4-1 away win in the reverse fixture.
Group 2
Wrexham Foresters will progress to the last 16 on their debut in the competition if they avoid defeat to Berriew at Stansty Park.
The Foresters bounced back from a 5-1 defeat to Connah’s Quay Nomads in their opening game by storming to an 11-0 victory away to Llandudno – the biggest Genero Adran Trophy group stage win since 2022.

Berriew are narrowly behind the Foresters on goal-difference in Group 2. The mid-Wales outfit triumphed 4-0 against Llandudno in their first group match, but were then beaten 3-0 by Connah’s Quay Nomads to dampen their knockout hopes.
This fixture comes just one week after both sides met on the Genero Adran North opening weekend, where the Foresters won 3-0 thanks to goals from Maizie Johnson, Kirstie Kural and Savannah Miller.
Llandudno are not mathematically eliminated, but their exit from the competition seems likely as they sit three points adrift of the qualification spots on a -15 goal-difference ahead of their trip to Connah’s Quay Nomads, who are already guaranteed a place in the knockouts.
Llandudno have lost to Berriew and failed to bounce back in that heavy 11-0 defeat to Wrexham Foresters, leaving Jay Davies’ side with work to do.
The Nomads’ wins over the Foresters and Berriew puts them on six points heading into the final set of group fixtures and they will be confident they can achieve maximum points. The reigning Genero Adran North champions will finish in the top two regardless of the outcomes in Group 2 on Sunday.

Llandudno went unbeaten in three meetings against the Nomads in all competitions last season as they prevailed 2-1 in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup before both sides played out two goalless draws in the Genero Adran North.
Group 3
Cascade will reach the knockout stage if they avoid defeat away to Penybont at the Dragonbet Stadium in Group 3.
Cascade are currently second in Group 3, sitting two points ahead of third-place Penybont. Cascade lost 1-0 to Cwmbran Celtic in their opening group game, but earned three vital points in a 2-0 win over Pure Swansea to strengthen their qualification hopes.
Kellan Webb’s side have been clinical in front of goal recently after securing a 12-1 win away to Undy Athletic in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup and a 9-2 victory over Pontypridd United in their Genero Adran South opener.
Penybont must claim victory on Sunday to leapfrog Cascade and progress. Bont have drew 1-1 with Pure Swansea and have lost 5-0 to Cwmbran Celtic in Group 3 so far, but Megan Clarke’s hat-trick inspired a 5-3 win over Cambrian United in the Genero Adran South last weekend and Leon Williams’ team can use that as confidence.

Cascade earned a 2-0 win over Penybont in the Genero Adran Trophy group stage last season, but Bont avenged that with a 2-1 away league win. Both sides played out a 1-1 draw in the reverse league fixture as Cascade’s star forward Ellis Lunn scored late to salvage a point.
Pure Swansea must defeat Cwmbran Celtic at the SU Sports Centre and hope Cascade fail to beat Penybont if the Swans were to have any chance of progression.
Pure Swansea are on just one point following their draw with Penybont last month and secured their first win of the season last weekend as they edged past Carmarthen Town 3-2 in the Genero Adran South.
Celtic are already guaranteed a place in the last 16 following their 1-0 and 5-0 victories over Cascade and Penybont respectively. Phil Schonbeck’s side are also the only team in the entire Genero Adran Trophy group stage yet to concede a single goal.

Celtic did the league double over the Swans last season, sealing 1-0 and 3-1 victories.
Group 4
Carmarthen Town and Pontypridd United meet at the LHP Stadium, with at least one side guaranteed to reach the knockout stage, while both teams will progress from Group 4 if the match ends in a draw.
Carmarthen and Pontypridd both won their first group matches against Cambrian United and Llanrumney United respectively, but both sides missed the chance to secure their last 16 spot on the second matchday after being held to draws.

Both teams will also be hoping to put their Genero Adran South losses from last weekend behind as Carmarthen lost 3-2 at Pure Swansea, while Pontypridd were heavily beaten 9-2 at home by Cascade.
The only previous meeting between the Old Gold and Ponty came in last season’s Bute Energy Welsh Cup, where Carmarthen sprung a surprise with a 2-1 win.
Both sides still have a likely chance of reaching the Genero Adran Tropby knockout stage as they sit on four points each.
If the fixture were to have a winner, they would progress to the last 16, meaning the losing side’s spot in the top two would be put in jeopardy ahead of the other Group 4 fixture between Cambrian United and Llanrumney United the M&P Group 3G, which kicks off two hours later.
Cambrian earned a 1-1 draw away to Pontypridd, while fellow newly-promoted side Llanrumney played out a 3-3 draw with Carmarthen as both sides kept their knockout hopes alive on matchday two.
Llanrumney, who are managed by Cardiff City legend Catherine Walsh, were convincing 9-0 winners over Thornhill in a rescheduled Bute Energy Welsh Cup fixture in their last outing. It was a contrasting feeling for Cambrian last Sunday as they still await their first win of the campaign after losing 5-3 at Penybont in the Genero Adran South.

A draw on Sunday would eliminate both Cambrian and Llanrumney from the competition, meaning both sides must target victory in the Rhondda and hope the earlier meeting between Carmarthen and Pontypridd does not end level.
Cambrian and Llanrumney both traded blows in the SWWGL last season as the Cam Army secured a 1-0 win, only for Llanrumney to reply with a 2-1 victory.
