It’s a quick turnaround in the JD Cymru Premier, with a full round of fixtures scheduled for Tuesday night. Here are the key games to keep an eye on.

Connah’s Quay Nomads v Caernarfon Town (Tuesday, 7:45pm)

After suffering their first league defeat of the season, Caernarfon Town will aim to bounce back when they travel to face Connah’s Quay Nomads at the Essity Stadium.

The Cofis were beaten 2-1 by Penybont on Saturday night, meaning they have slipped to second in the JD Cymru Premier table but are only behind leaders The New Saints on goal difference.

After picking up just one point from home games against Bala Town and Cardiff Met, the Nomads returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory away at Haverfordwest County on Saturday to climb into the top half.

It finished 1-1 in the last meeting between the two sides at the Essity Stadium in December 2024, after Caernarfon had won 3-1 in the reverse fixture two months earlier. The Cofis have not won away against the Nomads on their last 12 visits to Flintshire.

Haverfordwest County v Barry Town United (Tuesday, 7:45pm)

Tuesday night’s live Sgorio broadcast comes from Ogi Bridge Meadow, where Haverfordwest County host Barry Town United.

It has been a challenging season for the Bluebirds so far, who have won just one of their opening seven matches and currently sit in the relegation zone. A 3-1 home defeat to Connah’s Quay Nomads on Saturday was their successive loss, while they have already let in 15 league goals this term – four more than they conceded in the entirety of Phase One last season.

Haverfordwest County v Barry Town United

Barry ended their five-match winless run with an emphatic 4-0 home victory over Bala Town 10 days ago, before earning a 0-0 draw away at Flint Town United on Saturday. The Linnets are now aiming to keep three consecutive league clean sheets for the first time since September 2019.

Both meetings between the two sides ended 1-1 last season, with Ben Ahmun scoring in both matches for Haverfordwest. However, the striker will not be available on Tuesday following his red card against Connah’s Quay.

Briton Ferry Llansawel v Llanelli Town (Tuesday, 7:45pm)

Llanelli Town will aim to build on their first point of the season when they travel to Briton Ferry Llansawel.

After losing their first seven league games of the campaign, Lee John’s side earned a 0-0 draw at home against Colwyn Bay on Saturday as goalkeeper Alex Pennock saved a Louis Robles penalty to keep his clean sheet intact.

After a bright start to the season, Ferry are now winless in their last four league matches and have dropped down to eighth in the table. The Reds, who are yet to win at home in the league this season, twice trailed away at Bala Town on Friday night but earned a 2-2 draw.

It was only last month that the two sides met in the reverse fixture at Stebonheath, when Llanelli took a 2-0 lead after just 16 minutes but Ferry fought back to win 4-2 courtesy of a brace from Tom Walters and a goal each for Corey Hurford and Ruben Davies.
