The JD Cymru Premier fixture between Cardiff Met and Flint Town United on Saturday 18 April (KO 17:15) has been selected for live Sgorio broadcast by S4C.
The final day of the season clash at Cyncoed Stadium will be available to watch on S4C, BBC iPlayer, S4C Clic and the Sgorio YouTube channel.
Following defeat in the JD Welsh Cup Final last weekend, another huge game awaits Flint as they aim to avoid relegation. The Silkmen currently sit 10th in the table, two points above the drop zone, so must match or better Bala Town’s result against Briton Ferry Llansawel in order to survive.
Met were looking nervously over their shoulders for periods of Phase Two, but have already secured their safety courtesy of a 2-1 win over Bala at the end of March. The Archers can finish no higher than ninth in the table – where they currently sit – but would slip to 10th if Flint win by two or more goals.
Flint triumphed 4-2 over Met in their first meeting of the season at the Essity Stadium in August, before the Archers earned revenge with a 4-1 victory at Cyncoed in October. The Phase Two reverse fixture in February finished 1-1 as Jake Canavan scored a 96th minute equaliser for Flint to cancel out Matt Chubb’s opener for Met.
