Airbus UK Broughton concluded the JD Cymru North season with a 3-1 win over champions Llandudno at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium on Saturday.
Airbus were guaranteed to finish as runners-up to Llandudno, but their primary aim of promotion was already secured. Mason Blackwell-Jones put the Wingmakers ahead in first half stoppage-time as he headed in from close range after Shaun Pearson failed to deal with Tyler McManus’ cross into the area.
McManus was provider once more as he delivered into Danny Warren, who was left unmarked and headed home at the near post. Warren made it a brace in the 76th minute as Kaiden Cooke unselfishly squared the ball to the striker, who tapped into an empty net for his 16th league goal of the season.
Marc Williams headed past Keighan Jones to get Llandudno on the scoresheet and deny Airbus a clean sheet. Llandudno lifted the JD Cymru North trophy after the full-time whistle, with both the Seasiders and Airbus set to compete in the revamped JD Cymru Premier next season.

Holyhead Hotspur earned their biggest win of the season on the final day with a 5-1 victory over Buckley Town at The New Stadium.
Connor Owen’s penalty and Cory Williams’ seventh goal of the season saw Holyhead open up a two-goal lead after just seven minutes played. Cameron Buckley and Owen made it four by the 33rd minute before Aled Bellis pulled a goal back for the Bucks on the stroke of half-time.
Owen completed his hat-trick early in the second half with his 17th league goal of the season to restore the four-goal cushion. Darren Garmey’s side finished in a solid 11th-place in their first season back in the JD Cymru North, six points clear and two spots above Buckley.
Guilsfield also waited until the final day to secure their biggest win of the season as they triumphed 4-0 over Gresford Athletic at the PRS Recruitment Stadium.
Callum Bromley scored twice in the first half to put the Guils in a commanding position as he sent a looping header over Lewis Dutton before placing the ball into the bottom corner.
A defensive mix-up from Gresford just seconds after the restart saw Dan Wood turn the ball into his own net. Bromley completed his hat-trick on 50 minutes with a powerful header at the back post from Chris Catterall’s cross. The Guils have now finished in the top half in every JD Cymru North season, while Gresford had to settle for 15th-place.

Caersws were the standout performers on the final day as they stormed to a 6-0 victory over Denbigh Town at the Caersws Recreation Ground.
Ash Jones headed home from Lyndon Jones’ corner, Tommy Rowlands fired in off the crossbar and Rhys Hesden produced a neat finish as Caersws went into the break three goals to the good.
Rowlands, Tom Edwards and Ash Harries all finished clinically inside the area in the second half to give the Bluebirds their biggest league win of the season.
In-form Mold Alexandra confirmed their spot in the top half with a 3-1 win over Flint Mountain at Alyn Park.
Mold wasted no time and took the lead with just two minutes on the clock as Craig Rogers headed home from Max McGoona’s corner. Colwyn Bay loanee McGoona doubled the advantage 10 minutes later as he weaved his way through the Mountain defence and slotted past Dom Garner.
Teenager Charlie Rush rounded off a remarkable first half from the hosts as he avoided a sliding challenge, raced through on goal and sent a deft chip over Garner to make it three.
Rian O’Riordan’s special free-kick gave Mountain something to cheer about in stoppage-time, but the damage was already done as Mold claimed their fifth consecutive league win – the only JD Cymru North to have done so in their final five games.

Newtown ended their four-match losing streak with a 3-2 victory over already-relegated Ruthin Town at the Memorial Playing Fields.
Newtown captain Kieran Mills-Evans produced a sweetly struck volley to put his side ahead in the 12th minute, but Ruthin equalised through Danny Holland’s penalty in first half stoppage-time.
The Robins were back in front nine minutes after the restart though, as Devon Torry latched onto a long ball and finished clinically past Dan Goldston. Tom Jones then gave the away side daylight in the 74th minute with his calmly converted penalty.
Holland scored another spot-kick to half the deficit for Ruthin late on, but Newtown saw out the final 10 minutes to take home all three points.
Brickfield Rangers concluded their first season back in the second tier with an impressive 2-0 win over third-place Holywell Town at Clywedog Park.
Brickfield were denied by the crossbar in the first half, but quickfire goals from Alex Darlington and Andy Vale in the second half put the hosts in control.

The division’s golden boot winner Jamie Breese nearly capped off his memorable campaign with a goal, but his strike crashed against the post late on. However, the Wellmen can look forward to a return to the JD Cymru Premier next season after a guaranteed third-place finish.
Penrhyncoch made it three consecutive wins with a 3-0 victory over Rhyl 1879 at Cae Baker.
It was a nightmare first half for Rhyl as Ben Lightfoot missed a penalty in the second minute and Mo Ali was shown a straight red card before Iestyn Dugan’s smart finish put Penrhyncoch back ahead.
Geoff Kellaway set up both Dan Owen and Rhys Jenkins, who added their names to the scoresheet for the Roosters to put the game to bed in the second half. After being embroiled in a relegation battle for most of the season, Gari Lewis’ side finished the campaign in 12th place with 10 wins to their name.
