
The shortlist for the September Player and Manager of the Month awards in the JD Cymru Leagues has been confirmed.
The fans’ vote will be combined with a league and independent voting panel to determine the winners.

Manager of the Month
Rhys Griffiths – Penybont
An undefeated September saw Penybont claim an impressive return of 13 points from a possible 15 and concede just one goal in the process to head into October in second place. A 2-1 win away to Caernarfon Town was the highlight of the month for Rhys Griffiths’ side.

Craig Harrison – The New Saints
The champions powered themselves back to the top of the JD Cymru Premier in September with a faultless five wins out of five. The side also scored 20 goals during the month, hitting five and six past Haverfordwest County and Llanelli Town respectively.
Steve Jenkins – Barry Town United
A resounding 4-0 win over Bala Town was the stand-out result for Barry Town United during September as Steve Jenkins’ side suffered just one defeat away to high-flying Caernarfon Town. The side also sealed a 3-2 win over Haverfordwest County with a goal in the final minutes of the match.
Player of the Month
Ryan Brobbel – The New Saints
A key player behind The New Saints’ perfect form in September was Ryan Brobbel. The 32-year-old either scored or assisted in every game and contributed both in the 4-2 win over Flint Town United to make it three goals and three assists for the month.
Adam Davies – Caernarfon Town
With goals against Barry Town United, Penybont and a double in the 5-2 win at Briton Ferry Llansawel during September, Adam Davies has played a pivotal role for Caernarfon Town despite his team suffering two defeats.

Gabe Kircough – Penybont
It has been another impressive month for the 21-year-old who has been ever-present for Penybont this season. Kircough played every minute of all five undefeated games for Penybont during September, helping to keep four clean sheets in the process, as the side moved into second place.
Ben Wilson – The New Saints
A goal return of four goals in five games during the month has put the summer signing in content for the September awards. The New Saints won all five games with Wilson scoring a brace in the 6-0 win over Llanelli Town before adding further goals against Cardiff Met and Flint Town United.

Manager of the Month
Mark Allen – Airbus UK Broughton
A perfect three wins from three games during the month has handed Airbus UK Broughton the advantage at the top of the table heading into October. Mark Allen’s side also scored an impressive 13 goals in those three games.

Jordan Hadaway – Llandudno
Llandudno also enjoyed a maximum return in September with three victories as Newtown, Ruthin Town and Penrhyncoch were all defeated. Jordan Hadaway’s team are one of three undefeated sides in the JD Cymru North this season.
Johnny Haseldin – Holywell Town
Completing the trio of undefeated teams in the JD Cymru North are Holywell Town. Johnny Haseldin’s team claimed seven points from a possible nine in September but made headlines with an incredible 8-4 win over Gresford Athletic.
Player of the Month
Jamie Breese – Holywell Town
The 33-year-old striker has been in fine form this season and scored four goals in three games during September. Breese secured a point for his team in the 1-1 draw with Rhyl 1879 and has complimented his goals with four assists for the month.
George Peers – Airbus UK Broughton
In addition to playing every minute of all three games for Airbus UK Broughton in September, George Peers also found the back of the net in all three games as his side enjoyed a perfect month.
Jake Roberts – Gresford Athletic
Although his side are currently in the bottom half of the JD Cymru North, Jake Roberts has impressed during September with three goals for this team in as many games. Roberts scored the only goal of the game in the 1-0 victory over Mold Alexandra.

Callum Stephens – Llandudno
The 26-year-old defender featured in all three victories for Llandudno during the month and contributed an assist in the 3-1 win over Ruthin Town. A important part of the side who has started every match this season in all competitions.

Manager of the Month
Nana Baah – Cardiff Draconians
An undefeated September for Cardiff Draconians delivered a return of 10 points from a possible 12 as Nana Baah’s side claimed victories over Aberystwyth Town, Afan Lido and Llantwit Major. The side have also scored eight goals in the process, conceding just twice.

Andy Hill – Trefelin
Despite starting September with a 1-1 draw against local rivals Baglan Dragons, Andy Hill’s side responded with two wins and two clean sheets against Ammanford and Ynyshir Albions to make it seven points from nine.
Sam Houldsworth – Newport City
Newport City dropped points with a string of draws in August but responded in September with five goals in two games as the side claimed victories over Cambrian United and Pontypridd United, although the month ended with a narrow 1-0 defeat at Carmarthen Town.
Player of the Month
Dan Bowen – Cardiff Draconians
The young forward has been in fine form for Cardiff Draconians during September with goals against Afan Lido and Llantwit Major after scoring twice in the victory over Aberystwyth Town.
Luke Bowen – Trefelin
The 37-year-old rolled back the clock in September with five goals in three games including a superb hat-trick in the 5-0 win away to Ynyshir Albions. Bowen now has seven goals in the JD Cymru South this season.

Liam Eason – Cambrian United
The leading goalscorer in the JD Cymru South, Liam Eason has carried on from last season following his return to Cambrian United and scored in all three games in September, including the only goal in the 1-0 win over Baglan Dragons to extend their lead at the top of the table.
Jonathan Evans – Aberystwyth Town
Aberystwyth Town won their final two games in September and it was the returning Jonathan Evans who scored every goal. Following his brace that secured a 2-0 win over Cwmbran Celtic, Evans then scored the winner in the 1-0 victory at Afan Lido.
