
The shortlist for the April Player and Manager of the Month awards in the JD Cymru Leagues has been confirmed.
The fans’ vote will be combined with a league and independent voting panel to determine the winners.

JD Cymru Premier
Manager of the Month
Craig Harrison – The New Saints
The JD Cymru Premier champions only played two league games in April, but Craig Harrison’s side ended the season in familiar fashion with two victories. A 2-1 win over closest challengers Connah’s Quay Nomads was followed by a 1-0 win over Barry Town United to bring another successful campaign to a close.
Richard Davies – Caernarfon Town
It proved to be a memorable month for Richard Davies and his Caernarfon Town side as they claimed two league victories either side of their JD Welsh Cup triumph without conceding a single goal. The Cofis ended their league season with impressive 2-0 victories over Colwyn Bay and Penybont.

Tony Pennock – Haverfordwest County
Although the campaign would end with play-off final defeat, Tony Pennock’s side defeated Flint Town United 1-0 before seeing off the challenge of relegated Llanelli Town with a 6-0 victory. Haverfordwest County then booked their place in the play-off final with a penalty shoot-out win over Barry Town United.
Player of the Month
Dan Hawkins – Haverfordwest County
The 25-year-old has been an important part of the Haverfordwest County side this season and claimed a hat-trick in the 6-0 win over Llanelli Town. Hawkins also featured in the 1-0 win over Flint Town United and the victory over Barry Town United.
Matty Jones – Caernarfon Town
A key part of Caernarfon Town’s success, Matty Jones played every minute of every game for his side in April as they claimed victories over Colwyn Bay and Penybont. Jones also scored in the JD Welsh Cup Final victory over Flint Town United.
Adrian Cieslewicz – Caernarfon Town
Another JD Welsh Cup Final goalscorer, the experience of the 35-year-old has proved invaluable to Caernarfon Town this season and he scored his first JD Cymru Premier goal of the campaign in the 2-0 win over Penybont on the final day.

Ryan Brobbel – The New Saints
The 33-year-old delivered for the champions in April as he scored the decisive goals in both the 2-1 win over Connah’s Quay Nomads and in the 1-0 win over Barry Town United. Brobbel ends the campaign with 14 league goals and seven assists.
JD Cymru North
Manager of the Month
Mark Allen – Airbus UK Broughton
With promotion back to the JD Cymru Premier already confirmed, Airbus UK Broughton added to their incredible tally of 93 league goals in April as they ended the campaign with a 3-0 win over Holywell Town and a 3-1 victory over Llandudno.

Barry Owen – Mold Alexandra
Mold Alexandra ended the season on a high as Barry Owen’s side claimed a perfect record with three wins from their final three games of the campaign. A 3-1 win over Flint Mountain on the final day followed on from respective 2-1 victories over Newtown and Brickfield Rangers.
Gavin Allen – Guilsfield
Despite a 4-1 defeat to Llandudno, Guilsfield still claimed three victories during April and scored an impressive ten goals in the process. A 2-1 win over CPD Y Rhyl 1879 was followed by a 4-1 win over Caersws and a 4-0 victory at home to Gresford Athletic.
Player of the Month
Max McGoona – Mold Alexandra
The teenager ended the season in fine form as he scored the deciding goals in both 2-1 victories over Newtown and Brickfield Rangers. McGoona then scored his fourth and final goal of the campaign in the 3-1 win over Flint Mountain and contributed with an assist.
Callum Bromley – Guilsfield
The 36-year-old brought his season to a close in style as he scored a hat-trick in the 4-0 win over Gresford Athletic on the final day. Bromley also added an assist in the 4-1 win over Caersws and ends the season with six goals for his side.

Connor Owen – Holyhead Hotspur
Holyhead Hotspur brought their season to an end with two victories in April with Connor Owen playing a key part in their success. The 21-year-old scored the winning goal in the 2-1 victory over Flint Mountain and then grabbed a hat-trick in the 5-1 win over Buckley Town to take his tally to 17 goals for the season.
Daniel Owen – Penrhyncoch
The 23-year-old has been in superb form all season and ended the campaign with four goals in the final three games. Owen scored twice in the 2-1 win over Caersws before adding further goals in the 4-1 win over Gresford Athletic and in the 3-0 win over CPD Y Rhyl 1879 to make it a perfect month for his side.
JD Cymru South
Manager of the Month
Andy Hill – Trefelin
The JD Cymru South champions ended the campaign in style to seal the title as they scored 11 goals in two games. A 6-0 win over Treowen Stars was followed by a decisive 5-0 win at Newport City, with two clean sheets ensuring they kept the best defensive record in the league.
Wyn Thomas – Ammanford
Promotion to the JD Cymru Premier was confirmed for Ammanford on the final day of the season as Wyn Thomas’s side recorded a perfect April. A 4-0 win over Newport City was followed by a 2-1 victory at Cwmbran Celtic to claim third place in the table.

Liam Williams – Cambrian United
Cambrian United pushed Trefelin all the way to the final day for the league title, and while they maintained a perfect record in April, it just wasn’t enough. A 2-0 win over Baglan Dragons was followed by a 3-1 victory over Llantwit Major as the side ended the season promoted as runners-up.
Player of the Month
Callum Saunders – Trefelin
The 26-year-old has been in fine form for Trefelin this season and scored both April victories over Treowen Stars and Newport City. In addition to his goals as his side claimed the JD Cymru South title, Saunders also contributed three assists on the final day as his side claimed a 5-0 win.
Daniel John – Ammanford
With 18 goals this season, Daniel John has been integral to Ammanford earning promotion to the JD Cymru Premier and the 20-year-old continued to influence matters for his side in April. John scored twice in the 4-0 win over Newport City before opening the scoring against Cwmbran Celtic on the final day.
Michael Lewis – Pontypridd United
The January signing kept two clean sheets for his side during April as Carmarthen Town were defeated 1-0 and promotion-chasing Caerau Ely were held to a 0-0 draw. The experience of the 37-year-old has played an important part in steadying the defence during the second half of the season.

Daniel Bowen – Cardiff Draconians
The 22-year-old scored 12 goals for his side this season and added three to his tally during April. Bowen scored twice for Cardiff Draconians in the 4-4 draw with Trethomas Bluebirds before opening the scoring in the 4-1 victory over Afan Lido on the final day.
