November kicks off with a weekend full of crucial fixtures across the JD Cymru Leagues.
JD Cymru Premier – Briton Ferry Llansawel v Aberystwyth Town (Saturday, 5:15pm)
The JD Cymru Premier’s bottom two go head-to-head at Old Road on Saturday evening in an early relegation six-pointer live on Sgorio.
Ferry currently find themselves at the foot of the table after suffering three consecutive league defeats in October. The Reds’ only league win this season remains their remarkable 1-0 victory over leaders Penybont five weeks ago.
Aberystwyth remain without a permanent manager after Anthony Williams’ departure at the start of October, but interim boss Dave Taylor had led the Seasiders to back-to-back away wins – a 4-1 league victory at Caernarfon Town and a 2-1 triumph over Connah’s Quay Nomads in the Nathaniel MG Cup quarter-finals – before a 4-2 defeat to The New Saints at Park Avenue last weekend.
With the two sides sitting six and four points adrift of safety respectively, victory on Saturday would be crucial in their quest for survival.
JD Cymru North – Buckley Town v Llay Miners Welfare (Saturday, 2pm)

After securing a 4-3 win over Flint Mountain in the sixth minute of stoppage time last weekend, Buckley Town will hope to continue building momentum when they host Llay Miners Welfare on Saturday.
The Bucks are up to fifth in the table, with a game in hand over all teams above them, and have lost just one of their last five matches in the JD Cymru North.
Welfare began life under new manager Jord Scott with a 4-2 home defeat against Mold Alexandra last week, leaving them rooted to the bottom of the table and seven points adrift of safety. Their only league win of the campaign so far came against Caersws in mid-September.
The two sides have already met this season in the Welsh Blood Service League Cup first round, when Llay came from behind to win 2-1 thanks to goals from Chris Hibbert and Ruben Lima.
JD Cymru South – Taffs Well v Goytre United (Friday, 7:30pm)
Taffs Well and Goytre United meet at Rhiw Dda’r on Friday night with both sides looking to arrest their recent poor form.
A 5-0 defeat to Llanelli Town last weekend was the Wellmen’s sixth loss in their last seven league matches and saw them slip to the bottom of the JD Cymru South table. Josh Anderson was appointed as the club’s new manager this week and he will hope to oversee a turnaround in fortunes.
Goytre started this season in impressive form, picking up 10 points from the first 15 available, but they have now earned just one point from the last five matches and have slipped into the bottom half of the table.
Cameron Harris’ stoppage time goal clinched a 2-1 win for Goytre in this fixture last season, before Taffs Well got revenge in the reverse meeting with a 3-1 victory.
