Brickfield Rangers earned their first ever win in the JD Cymru North in style as they triumphed 4-0 at home over Buckley Town on Saturday.
Rangers had failed to find the net in their first two league fixtures of the campaign but had two goals inside the opening 21 minutes at Clywedog Park thanks to Danny Jones’ quickfire brace.
That remained the difference between the two sides for the majority of the contest, before substitutes Alex Darlington and Jay Richardson both fired past James McHarrie late on to wrap up an emphatic victory for the hosts.
Rhyl 1879 also won for the first time since promotion as they ended Guilsfield’s six-match winning streak in the league with a 3-2 away win at the PRS Recruitment Stadium.
Rhyl opened the scoring midway through the first half thanks to Morgan Murray’s close range finish, but that lead lasted just two minutes as Sam Flory tapped home an equaliser.

The Lilywhites restored their lead early in the second half through new signing Ben Lawrence, who found the net exactly one year after his last competitive goal, before Archie Jones added a third goal just before the hour mark.
Iwan Matthews pulled a goal back for the Guils with just over 20 minutes to play, but Rhyl were able to see off the late pressure to earn all three points.
Airbus UK Broughton remain the early league leaders following a comfortable 4-0 win over newly-promoted Holyhead Hotspur at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium on Saturday.
Holyhead kept Airbus at bay for 41 minutes, until George Peers won a penalty which he stepped up to convert before Jordan Evans curled into the top corner to double the lead in first half stoppage time.

Holyhead came agonisingly close to getting back in the game as they hit the woodwork twice in quick succession, but Kaiden Cooke’s close-range finish extended the hosts’ advantage on 65 minutes. Peers added a fourth for the Wingmakers late in the day with a powerful strike at the back post, taking his tally to five goals in the first two league games of the season.
Llandudno also made it two wins from two games with a 4-0 victory over Flint Mountain at the Go Goodwins Stadium on Friday night.
The Seasiders led inside 16 minutes as Harvey Bennett headed home from close range, before Mark Cadwallader built on his hat-trick in the Nathaniel MG Cup last week by doubling the advantage early in the second half.
Brothers Callum Stephens and Adam Stephens added their name to the scoresheet in the final half hour to wrap up all three points. Llandudno and Airbus are the only two sides yet to concede in the JD Cymru North this season.
Devon Torry scored a late winner to give Newtown a 2-1 comeback victory over Penrhyncoch at Cae Baker on Friday night.
Following a goalless first half, Penrhyncoch took the lead just five minutes after the break through Dion Phillips, but new Robins signing Steffan Jones levelled the scoreline on 68 minutes.
After multiple Dave Jones saves kept Newtown in the contest, Torry’s decisive goal arrived with just three minutes left on the clock as he met Ollie Sharp’s cross and tucked the ball home to continue the Robins’ perfect start to the campaign.

The fourth and final side with two wins from two games are Holywell Town, who triumphed 2-1 against Denbigh Town on Friday night.
Denbigh started brightly and had two penalty appeals waved away, but a costly mistake from Cameron Darling allowed Jamie Breese to round the Reds goalkeeper and slot Holywell ahead just before the half hour mark.
It remained a tight contest at the Blue Turtle Arena, with goalkeeper John Danby on fine form for the visitors who did not double their lead until the 69th minute when skipper Danny Sullivan scored from outside the box for the second consecutive league match as he sent a low drive into the bottom corner.
Bobby Beaumont’s deflected effort in the 82nd minute halved the deficit, but Denbigh could not find a late equaliser as Holywell held on for three points.

Mold Alexandra earned their first win of the new campaign as Tyler Berry’s brace secured a 2-0 victory away to Caersws.
Berry, who joined Mold on loan from Connah’s Quay Nomads in the summer, scored both of his goals inside the opening 17 minutes. Caersws hit the woodwork twice and had a goal ruled out in the second half to add to their frustrations.
Gresford Athletic also got their first three points of the season with a hard-fought 2-1 home win over Ruthin Town on Friday night.
Both sides had numerous opportunities in the first half but the deadlock was not broken until two minutes before half-time when Jake Roberts headed home from Dan Collins’ cross to give Gresford the lead.
Collins was provider again for the Colliers’ second goal just before the hour mark, this time for Iwan Roberts, who found the net for the first time in Gresford colours. Alex Smith’s late own goal gave Ruthin a lifeline, but the hosts were able to hold on for victory.
