2025/26 JD Cymru Premier awards

Player of the Season

Jack Bodenham – The New Saints

A consistent presence at the heart of a defence that conceded just 25 goals in 32 JD Cymru Premier League games this season as The New Saints claimed another league title. The 26-year-old also chipped in with three goals in the early stages of the campaign.

Rhys Hughes – Connah’s Quay Nomads

A key player for Connah’s Quay Nomads as the side claimed the runners-up position. With 15 goals and 10 assists and still just 24, the attacking contribution of the former Cymru U21 international proved decisive as they pulled away from their nearest rivals to deliver European football.

Jordan Williams – The New Saints

It has been another impressive season for one of the stand-out players in the JD Cymru Premier as the 33-year-old scored 26 league goals to claim the Golden Boot. Williams has been a pivotal figure for The New Saints since his arrival in 2021 and continues to deliver for the champions.

Manager of the Season

John Disney – Connah’s Quay Nomads

It proved to be a very successful first season in charge for John Disney as the former defender guided the Nomads back into Europe by finishing second in the JD Cymru Premier table. Still only 33, Disney has spent over a decade at the club and has made a seamless transition into management.

Craig Harrison – The New Saints

A serial winner with The New Saints, Craig Harrison claimed his tenth league title at Park Hall and ended the campaign with a 22-point lead over closest challengers Connah’s Quay Nomads. The Saints only conceded 25 goals during the season and will now look to take that form into European competition this summer.

Michael Wilde – Colwyn Bay

Having guided Colwyn Bay back to the JD Cymru Premier last season, Michael Wilde ensured would achieve more success on their return to the top-flight as they claimed a place in the Championship Conference. Their performances have been backed by incredible support as they head into the European Play-Offs.

Young Player of the Season

Kian Jenkins – Briton Ferry Llansawel

The 21-year-old featured in every JD Cymru Premier match for Briton Ferry Llansawel as the club narrowly missed out on a place in the play-offs by just a few points. A consistent performer, Jenkins has complimented his four goals with five assists from his defensive position.

Ieuan Owen – Barry Town United

The teenager hit double figures for Barry Town United this season with 11 goals. Involved in every league match of the campaign, Owen also made headlines in the Nathaniel MG Cup Final by scoring both goals in the 2-0 victory over The New Saints.

Callum West – Connah’s Quay Nomads

The 20-year-old summer signing wasted no time adapting to the JD Cymru Premier as a new era began for the Nomads under John Disney. West scored nine goals during the campaign and also added seven assists to help his side claim the runners-up position.
