JD Cymru Premier European play-offs confirmed

Following the conclusion of the regular JD Cymru Premier campaign, full details of the European play-offs have been confirmed.

One more Welsh spot remains in next season’s UEFA Conference League first qualifying round alongside Connah’s Quay Nomads and Bala Town, while The New Saints will compete in the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round.

The first play-off semi-final will take place between Caernarfon Town and Cardiff Met at The Oval on Friday 10 May (KO 19:45).

The Cofis are aiming to qualify for Europe for the first time ever, while the Archers’ only previous adventure on the continent in their current iteration came in 2019 after winning the play-offs. Their tie will be available to watch live on Sgorio’s online platforms and your smart TV.

The following day, on Saturday 11 May, Newtown and Penybont will go head-to-head at Latham Park in the other semi-final (KO 12:20).

The Robins have had five previous European campaigns, qualifying through the JD Cymru Premier play-offs in 2015 and 2021, while Bont made their debut in the Europa Conference League last summer. Their tie will be available to watch live on S4C and on Sgorio’s online platforms.

The European play-off final will take place on Saturday 18 May (KO 14:45) at the home of the highest-ranked team, live on S4C and online.
