JD Cymru South leaders Cambrian United continued their perfect start to the season with a 2-0 home win over Rhondda rivals Ynyshir Albions.
The first competitive meeting between the two sides for nearly three years remained goalless for just over an hour until Josh Allen broke the deadlock for the hosts on 61 minutes.
The midfielder made himself the derby hero with a second goal 12 minutes later, with a fifth consecutive win for Cambrian seeing them go four points clear at the top of the table.
The points were shared at Ynys Park where Trefelin and Llantwit Major played out a thrilling 3-3 draw.
Llantwit raced into a 2-0 lead inside the opening 17 minutes, as Kofi Rowe scored for the second consecutive game and Tom Stokes marked his debut with a goal. However, Lewys Ware pulled a goal back for Trefelin on 28 minutes, before Luke Bowen levelled the contest just before the hour mark.

Tref captain Jordan Davies completed the turnaround to give his side the lead for the first time with just five minutes remaining, but Llantwit snatched a point thanks to an 88th-minute equaliser from substitute Jack Bevan against his former club.
There was remarkable late drama in Ystrad Mynach as Trethomas Bluebirds and Treowen Stars took a point each from a 1-1 draw.
The contest remained goalless for 96 minutes, until Treowen captain Christian Edwards scored what looked to be the winner for the visitors. However, the Bluebirds dramatically equalised less than a minute later through substitute Josh Williams.
Caerau Ely made it 10 points from a possible 12 so far this season with a 2-0 home win over Pontypridd United – who remain without a victory to their name.
Liam Bishop bagged his first league goal of the season to open the scoring just after the half hour mark, before Harrison Lewis doubled the Young Guns’ advantage midway through the second half.

Cwmbran Celtic picked up their first point of the season in a 1-1 draw at home against Gwent rivals Newport City.
Celtic took the lead four minutes before half-time as Josh Hinwood knocked in Joe Bowen’s free-kick, but George Kabza equalised eight minutes into the second half to ensure the points were shared. Newport remain unbeaten but have now drawn their last three matches.
Carmarthen Town remain second in the table and undefeated following a 0-0 draw at home against Baglan Dragons.
A nasty collision between Carmarthen goalkeeper Lee Idzi and defender Tyler Aylward forced both players off at the end of the second half, but the hosts nonetheless kept hold of their clean sheet to earn a point.

Third-place Ammanford also remain unbeaten and kept a third consecutive clean sheet in a 0-0 draw away at Aberystwyth Town.
The Seasiders’ 17-year-old goalkeeper Tomos Evans has emerged as a key player in recent weeks and he starred again at Park Avenue with multiple important saves to keep the game goalless.
