The New Saints and Caernarfon Town have discovered their potential opponents in qualifying round three of European competition.
JD Cymru Premier champions TNS are guaranteed at least two further ties in Europe regardless of their result against Ferencváros in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round.
If Craig Harrison’s side are victorious against the Hungarian giants, they will face the winner of the tie between Andorra’s UE Santa Coloma and FC Midtjylland of Denmark in the third qualifying round.
Victory against Ferencváros would also guarantee group/league stage football in European competition for the first time.
If TNS lose their UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie, they will drop to the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round where they will meet the loser of the tie between APOEL FC of Cyprus and Moldovan champions FC Petrocub.
Victory in this tie would see them progress to the UEFA Europa League play-off round, while defeat would see them drop to the UEFA Conference League play-off round.
Meanwhile, in the UEFA Conference League, if Caernarfon Town progress past Legia Warsaw in the second qualifying round they will play the winner of the tie between Brøndby IF of Denmark and Kosovo’s KF Llapi 1932 in the third qualifying round.
If Caernarfon are beaten by Legia Warsaw, they will exit European competition for this season.
