Genero Adran Premier round-up | The New Saints move into top half with victory

The New Saints moved into the top half of the Genero Adran Premier table following a 3-1 home win over Pontypridd United on Sunday.

The Dragons, who are still yet to pick up a point this season, took the lead in the seventh minute when Efa Preece-Jones capitalised on a TNS mistake to score her first league goal of the campaign.

However, Greg Draper’s side equalised almost instantly when Caitlin Chapman lashed home her sixth goal of the season from inside the box.

A third goal arrived 10 minutes into the second half when Emily Ridge latched on to Georgia Griffiths’ through ball and finished well past Klaudia Wojtyczka.
