The 2024/25 Genero Adran South Team of the Season has been announced ahead of the FAW National League Awards on Saturday 7 June.

Representatives from across the league were invited to select a best XI, before all submissions were compiled into the Team of the Season.

The club that are represented the most in the team are the champions Pontypridd United who have four players included, whilst there are three each from Cascade and Swansea University, whilst Penybont also have a player included.

Genero Adran South Team of the Season 2024/25

GK – Georgia Tarullo (Swansea University)

The 22-year-old American enjoyed her debut campaign in Wales by keeping six clean sheets in 12 matches. Swansea Uni conceded the least amount of goals out of any team in the division and a lot of that is down to the heroics of Tarullo.

RB – Lucy Jones (Pontypridd United)

Jones stuck with the Dragons following their relegation from the top-flight and her loyalty paid off as the 27-year-old was able to make 11 appearances in the league season, getting two assists from defence.

CB – Casey Thomas (Cascade)

Cascade boasted the third best defensive record in the league, shipping just 15 goals in 12 games. Thomas was ever present as her side finished third.

CB – Caitlin Seaborne (Pontypridd United)

The former Coed Duon defender picked up two goals and two assists from a central defender position. Nominated for both the Player of the Season and the Young Player of the Season award, as well as a promotion, it’s been a season to remember.

LB – Jessica Goucher (Swansea University)

Another of Swansea University’s contingent from Stateside, Goucher was a consistent threat down the left hand side and also part of the league’s best defence.

RM – Lauren Payne (Pontypridd United)

The 18-year-old scored six goals and contributed three assists as the Dragons clinched the league title. A highlight was two goals and one assist in an early season 4-3 win away at Cwmbran Celtic.

CM – Charley Haynes (Swansea University)

Haynes has served Swansea University for a long time and was ever present in their league campaign. The 28-year-old registered four goals and four assists with her standout match being against Llanelli Town, scoring twice and supplying a goal for Lauren Baker.

LM – Anny Lewis (Cascade)

One of the more established players in the division, Lewis is a recognisable name in the Cascade side. The 34-year-old has been credited with two goals and an assist this term.
