
To celebrate International Women’s Day 2025 (IWD), the Football Association of Wales (FAW) is proud to announce the first ever FAW Women & Girls Conference set to take place this April.
Centred around the IWD 2025 theme, ‘Accelerate Action’, the conference will bring together key stakeholders from Welsh football, business, government, and the wider football family to drive forward the long-term vision for women’s and girls’ football in Wales.
With Cymru preparing for a history making summer at the UEFA Women’s EURO 2025, this event will play a pivotal role in shaping the legacy plans from the tournament and ensuring Cymru’s participation in the EUROS leaves a lasting impact on the future of football in Wales.
This innovative conference will celebrate the progress to date, while setting out next steps to further grow the game, increase participation, and create lasting change.
