Connah’s Quay Nomads secure Genero Adran North title

Connah’s Quay Nomads clinched the Genero Adran North title with an emphatic 12-0 win over NFA on Sunday afternoon.

Jordan Parry’s side finished as runners-up in the division in 2022/23 and 2023/24 but have now finally got their hands on the trophy for the first time.

It has been a faultless league campaign for the Nomads so far, as they have won all 12 of their matches – with two still to play – scoring 63 goals and conceding just five.

Captain Polly Wild-McGregor has starred with 21 goals in 11 appearances, while the signing of Ella Jones – who lifted the title with Llandudno last season – added even more firepower to the Nomads’ already stacked attack.

Having applied for a Tier 1 licence, the Nomads will now wait to find out if they have been a successful to earn a spot in the promotion play-off against the champions of the Genero Adran South.
