The Football Association of Wales has received notification from Pontardawe Town Ladies that they have withdrawn from the 2024/25 Genero Adran South.Â
The League met with the Club to understand the challenges they are facing and sought to provide advice, but the Club decided that they had no option but to withdraw from the Genero Adran South.
In line with Adran South Rule 6.15, the Club may be liable to be fined for resigning from the League after being accepted at the relevant League AGM and before completing its fixtures.
All of Pontardawe Town Ladies’ fixtures in the 2024/25 Genero Adran South campaign are cancelled, with the division to proceed with seven clubs for the upcoming season.
A wildcard spot will be opened up to replace the Club in the 2024/25 Genero Adran Trophy, with further details to be announced in due course.
