Genero Adran North round-up | Felinheli hit double figures to relegate NFA

NFA’s relegation from the Genero Adran North was confirmed following a 10-0 defeat away at Felinheli on Sunday.

Rubie Davies, Elsi Williams and Fflur Williams opened up a three-goal lead for Felinheli inside the first half an hour, while NFA’s woes increased six minutes later when Courtney Ingram was sent off for a second bookable offence. Davies and Williams would score again before half-time, either side of a goal for Jenna Tugwell-Allsup, as the hosts led 6-0 at the break.

Substitute Katie Midwinter, Hana Wellings and Ellie Jones all got in on the act in the second half, before Tugwell-Allsup got her second of the afternoon and Felinheli’s 10th in the 89th minute as they stretched their unbeaten streak in the Genero Adran North to nine matches.

Erin Doran scored a stoppage time equaliser to rescue a point for Llandudno in an entertaining 3-3 draw with Flint Town United at the Essity Stadium.

Flint made a dream start to the contest as Llinos Hughes’ looping header and Zoe Stopford’s composed finish saw the Silkwomen open up 2-0 lead inside the first eight minutes.

However, a defensive mistake allowed Kelsey Davies to half the deficit for the Seasiders in the 16th minute, before teenager Angharad Jones levelled the game just after the half hour mark.

Kaelyn Williams’ stunning strike from distance in the 89th minute looked to have earned Flint all three points, but Doran popped up in the fifth minute of stoppage time to ensure the points were shared.

Champions Connah’s Quay Nomads made it 13 wins from 13 league games this season as Anna Marsh’s late goal secured a narrow 1-0 victory away at second-place Llanfair United.

It was a tight contest at Mount Field, but the Nomads’ quality in attack ultimately proved the difference as Marsh latched onto Ella Jones’ pass and slotted past Ffion Davies with eight minutes left on the clock.

Genero Adran North results
